Palit GameRock RTX 4070Ti - Memory Errors Resolved

If you set display to AUTO, it should select it based on where HDMI cable is plugged in. You wont have to change it every time, it will go where cable is connected. Try it out. Let me know if it works for you.

I have tried that with Auto. But somehow it does not switch automatically on my motherboard if a GPU is plugged in. The display switches to the PCIE even if the cable is plugged to the motherboard hdmi. I think I will have to play around with the motherboard bios settings. For now I have one hdmi connected to the motherboard and one to the GPU. Both these cables connect to the hdmi switch and then to the capture card so now I just push the button. 😂

What pads do you use ? Memory temperatures are VERY GOOD

where would you start looking at a 2070 super that fails to detect in bios, shows a black screen and fans spin up really fast?

First check the PCIE lanes data pair, PEX reset and reference clock plus and minus. Check the first pair caps at the back of the PCIE of the GPU.

Hi. After chip replacement, why did MODS showed "FAIL"? Since the card is running great?

Mods and and NVMT are weird. Specially Mods if the card is working mods on my USB gives a fail error or runs in an error loop. I still am not able to figure out why it does that. Sometimes NVMT will show warnings even when the card is working fine. So it's a combination of Mods , mats and NVMT gives an idea if the card is working as intended.

I have not received a 1660 with memory errors yet but I did on a 1650. And it identifies the faulty memory.

I wish you were close i would send you some rx580s I have for repairs, excellent work. By the way which motherboard are you using i have MSI boards and they dont display if you plug in a card with vram problems even if you set display through iGPU in the bios

Im running a 4070Ti aswell, and i think the coolers are too big. No doubt these cards run hot, but there has to be ways to inprove the cooling without increasing the size. Or perhaps, at our current technology level, we have reached a threshold for air cooling and need to consider making watercooled GPU's the norm.

Thank you for sharing. Liquid cooled GPU with a cheaper price tag would be nice. Currently liquid cooled ones are too expensive compared to air cooled

No. I only accept cards which are out of warranty or if warranty has been void or if the customer does not wish to claim warranty from the manufacturer.
