Salamat po. Nais kong malaman kung papaano magluto ng malagkit. Thank you. I wanted to learn how to cook sticky rice. I loved eating it while growing up in the Phiippines. I always bought it, and no one taught me at home. A relative cooked it once to offer to the dead relatives' souls. After that we ate it. But what I loved about it is buying a slice of that on a banana leaf, bibingka, or wrapped with banana leaf, suman, after school. There was always a store near my school that would spread out all kinds of Filipino desserts. How that all changed now with fast food restaurants. Thank you again for sharing a dessert shared by Southeast Asians. From Cambodia to Thailand to Vietnam to Indonesia to the Philippines, the desserts are basically similar with cultural and historical modification.

Hello! If you don't have access to palm sugar; can it be subbed with cane sugar? If so ... what are the measurements? Thank you!

Thank you Ming. This was extremely helpful. I have the sweet tooth in the family, so my mom doesn't make much traditional Khmer desserts. Thank you again Ming.

Just use another type like soy milk. Remember to store properly once cooked. Coconut milk is good because it doesn't need to be refrigerated.
