Our LORD, GOD and SAVIOUR did create the simplest fabric (H²O) to sustain all of life here on earth. Oh Alistair, I have been making this comment about the nature of the crowd for so long and I don't feel alone any more. Thank you! The Good Friday crowd will have been a cobbled together bunch and in the early morning. I feel the same about the subject of context too and 'dropping in' on a lectionary passage.
