Are condo owners required to hold a short term rental license or is that bypassed since Palms Place is an official short term rental/airbnb resort?

There is a separate license that is easy to get if you want to manage it yourself. It costs $300 a year. However if you have the hotel or another management company doing the rentals you don’t have to get it as they have it. 👍

I don’t have one that I recommend but I do know of two jet luxury and strip view suites both do third-party rentals in that community. 👍

It is a hotel condo just like MGM signature so the units are small. They have great gym and pool plus room service of course :-)

I'm a little confused. So Shared Assessment is ONLY for people that want to live there full time vs. Transient Lodging Fee is ONLY for people that want to rent their property out, is that correct? Or do you have to pay both? Also, if you put your unit up for rent, are you allowed to stay in your own unit from time to time, and are there any restrictions or fees associated with doing so? Thanks for the video!

Sorry let me clarify, the shared assessment is paid by everyone regardless of occupancy and use of the unit. The transient rental fee is paid by anyone who is doing nightly rentals of any kind. If you are in the hotel rental program you can still use your unit with advance notice if it is not booked by guests. 👍 any other rental program may have their own rules for that though.
