Mounting and unmounting your bird repeatedly is better than the grapple trick for early encumbered movement imo. It doesn't take an inventory slot and it requires no menu and it uses just the F key. It lets you free up an extra ancient tech point as well. The only cons are that it takes a party slot for the bird and that you have to weave around things with F key context like stones on the ground, chests etc.

No its actually not as with a grappling hook you can shoot it next to your feet and the cool down is only 1second

I honestly have been building this route over the past two weeks as an experiment in powerleveling a new world. this is really well done. I'm not sure about the Kingpaka, Katress and Broncherry captures as well as the Zoe Kill as they all become significantly easier post 20. otherwise your routing is great. The only thing I can recommend is once you have your base built transition to berry farms. You can sell baked berries to the vendors and they are produced super quickly so the gold per hour is really high. even with just Tanzee, Penking and foxsparks you can build enough capital to start buying everything you need for the midgame, and as soon as you can start breeding (19) you can pretty easily breed up a ton of Lyleen to really speed the process up. There are a whole bunch of breeding chains you could include but suffice to say that with 4-5 base pals you can breed Anubis, Lyleen, Jorm, and Jorm Ignis all at 19. Once deployed with enough berry farms (~20) you will start passively making thousands of gold per hour trivializing the midgame on. I haven't checked your channel yet (this is your first video I have seen from you) but I think the base you created in this video is a great jumping off point for a second midgame-optimization video going over tips and tricks to move from 20 to 50.

Thank you for the info, I feel you need to defeat Katress, Kingpaca, and Zoe for the ancient technology points to unlock the grappler and other equipment as I wanted the base to be built out of stone and not wood which requires me to be higher level. I didn't see a point on doing a gold farm just yet as the black marketeer is the faster gold method in the game right now, but yeah, that's a very good starter gold farm. I'm currently editing my 2nd Palworld video now, where I take on from where I left off. I'm showing how you can breed Anubis, Lyleen, Jorm, jorm ignis, Astegon with the best passive skills, and also how you can condense them to be even more useful, and as a bonus I show you the perks off using souls to further increase there workspeed. And also describe how to obtain everything the easiest

@@TropsPlays fantastic. I look forward to it. this video was really well put together so I'm sure its going to be a lengthy process. I'm interested in what you prioritize for breeding to make it through midgame. My script gets somewhat open ended after about 25 when I have both my bases set up for max cake and passive income. Edit: after the jorm ignis breeding update I hadn't considered using volcano eggs in the route; an early Ragna/Rept/Blaze or two would be a huge boon to cake/ingot production before breeding. Its a great shout-out, thanks for showcasing it.

When I breed, I breed for all the best base passive skills so I show how to get 1 pal with skills AB and the other with CD as this is the most effective way to obtaining all passive skills onto 1 pal, I use jorm ignis straight away for cakes as I found 1 at the volcano and at fisherman's point. With maxed out chickens, moz, and bee. I also show how you can quickly build a temp base just for breeding as it doesn't matter about raids as you can just log out. I hope I've told you enough without telling you everything.

@@TropsPlays I subbed and will check out the vid regardless. Nice find on the Jorm Ignis, I think the egg has less than a 1% spawn. Personally I go straight to berries and only ranch Bees as the ranch pals have really bad drop rates and don't really benefit from traits. the math works out to something like 6-10x more cake per hour from Lyleen over Chix/moz, though you have to buy the milk and eggs from a merchant so the lyleen route is not entirely AFK.

@bobnewkirk7003 Appreciate it! And about the egg thing, I don't know if they secretly changed the spawn rates as I found 2 in less then 10minutes. Say 3 months ago on my 1st world, I would fly around for hours on hours and not find a single 1. That's interesting as I have over 9999 cooked berries spare. Also, do you use the black marketeer for gold? I find him super useful tbh.

I appreciate the effort you put in this! Are you streaming anywhere? I would love to watch you play the game live, even if ur doing it to record a video. Also, I would very much like to see a tour of your main base, from your main playthrough (not one done for a video) with explanation of why you made it the way you made it, like for each structure you put - why did you put it there, and so forth.

Yeah it can take a lot of research and work. I don't have a base where everything is perfectly placed anymore since they added crude oil. My main base is at the volcano with 2 oil veins.

No its been patched but if you need money early game just cook berries and with the new ore you can just craft nails. You'll have more money then you can imagine

@@TropsPlays think people would just like to see the full minimally edited run along with commentary at the time. Doesn't need to be a vanilla run could be one type only challenge or a lucky only see if your playstyle and approach does or achieves it in a different way. Also with the update on the horizon I believe the new area is gonna be 45 to 55 it'll allow you to use the new ores etc before the update and seamlessly transition into that! :) I have noticed the new sulfur and coal base nodes so a nice quartz centered base ready for the other materials could come in handy especially with a layout for maximum efficiency etc! All my storage is always centered around the pal box for ease of transport if or when I move base :)
