In response to Nintendo trying to patent gaming mechanics, lets, as a community, open a company or corporation and be funded by the community and scrutinize all mechanics used in Nintendo games and patent everything that is not patented by them. You know, everything that is not bolted down type of situation. Then the mini corporation or company sue Nintendo for as many patent infringements as possible, all funded by the community. Bog Nintendo down. It works both ways. I am not tech savvy or law savvy, so others have to do it.

A summon gun easy. Imma be legit with you they should make a catching bullet as well. Go all out on the gun mechanics without having to change to much. Mounting wise idk how that would be changed because a lot of games have it. Pokémon has nothing regarding guns this can be used as a work around. Mounting has been around for a long time but Pokemon doesn’t require a saddle to mount so they could make a visual representation of a saddle on all of there pals that can be mounted.

We do need a new way to summon monsters out away from us. One I saw asked about a circle area they would appear. Then I thought what if we had a effect to make a fire pal come out of a pillar of fire and so on for others. Also maybe crushing the pal sphere in your hand.

Then when calling it back the ball reforms around them shrinking or whatever turning them into light balls and get sealed away again. Since Nintendo dosen't like other people throwing balls to catch stuff.

Mounts are not a game mechanic that Nintendo or anyone can sue over as ultima had mounts in 1981. Game patents for innovative gameplay mechanics last only 20 years.

Not microtransactions, monthly subscriptions and carbon copy BS. Palworld is popular because it's fun. It's not even finished yet and palworld is kicking Pokémon butt. Pokémon reaction to this was to sue them. They don't want competition they want a monopoly. Many are calling for a boycott. I hope every gaming company takes the hint.

Changing the mechanic temporarily allows them to sell the game in Japan. It's not a big deal. It takes some of the fun out of tactical pal deployment, but until they develop some new animations for an alternative to the balls, this is fine.

They have both catching (no catch %, and you need to pick up sphere) and summoning via throw in craftopia. Have no idea why they decided to remove even one of those... Sounds like its easier to try to invalidate 2021 patent because it uses mechanic from craftopia (summoning via throw)

I was really hoping that competition would allow Pokémon to grow. I actually really enjoy modern Pokémon games, but competition is always good for any industry. New update makes quality of life worse! Constantly spawn my pal and it's stuck in the F-ing ground 😂 absolutely useless in dungeons. They also upped the pal limit in bases from 30-50 😉 no idea why you would do that on the ps5 version when the game crashes Constantly if you have more than 15 pals at a time in your bases.

@darknessdestroyer1480 depends on all your other settings and how many bases you have with active pals. In my case 150 pals all working constantly. Drains your cpu in the background while playing. Plus my ps is a few years old with intense gaming daily.
