In this episode we see three different versions of bad parents. 1. Cora kills her daughters boyfriend 2. Milah abandons her son because she hates Rumple and wants adventure (great excuse) 3. Maurice tries to wipe Belle's memory because he doesn't like her boyfriend Remind me to thank my parents for not being selfish, cruel, and way too overprotective.

I don't know if i have said this already, but i love Charming's reaction of Belle. He kept looking from her to Rumple like "This is her? how did YOU get HER." Lol Ruby's reaction made me smile.

I love how Belle was brave enough to strike out on her own despite not having anywhere to go after dropping her dad and Rumple. She did not go back to them, she waited for them to come and ask for her to take them back. Rumple did that. Her dad didn't. Because of this, Rumple has more Kudos for me.

Charming has a way of owning a scene without ever speaking. in a later episode, Rumple tells Regina he has no secrets from Belle. so i guess he did listen to Charming. lol!

i like that david doesnt say anything in this scene. his expression said, "i like this girl's attitude!" and "oh man, sorry that ur gf dumped u rumple " and "HOT DAMN! how did he get a prettier girl than me.... with short dresses.... low cut shirts.... long curly lucious hair..... cool eyes..... AND AN ACCENT!

I loved this episode! :3 But it was this scene that really got to me. I felt like Belle was becoming a tad too docile and wanted to see that fire and independence again :) glad to see that she finally found her own way. However I really do hope to see more Rumbelle in coming episodes, would love to see him pop into the library now and then.

LOL, really! And think about it: Belle didn't know how to function in the modern world since she had been locked up by Regina. I have no idea which one of those three are worst, though I hate Milah the most because shew as selfish. Cora is evil but sounds like she started off with good intentions but power corrupts. I get Maurice why didn't want Belle with Rumple, but seriously overboard!

Her father has actually lost belle to mr.gold and we did not get to see him again it is race to assume that belle has kicked him out of her life forever and since her father is a control freak he as no control over her and she does not even make any contact with him he is because of her father is now all alone because of his own actions
