So I have a theory on why Pan is so strong (and kind of why kid Trunks is a lot stronger then Future Trunks was at that age). Goku never went Super Saiyan until after Gohan was born and though he had a lot of potential it never really surfuced as easily as it did for Pan since Gohan was a Super Saiyan when Pan was concieved. This would explain why Goten was so strong and why he could transform so easily when compared to Gohan. I can only assume Future Vegeta didn't achive Super Saiyan until after Future Trunks was concieved but main timeline Vegeta achived it before Trunks was concieved

That makes sense actualy. Because doing stuff naturaly, or doing it with concious thoughts, are 2 different things. As a baby she doesnt need to think about it. She just does it because her body is capable of it. As she grows older, she starts thinking more which limits you, untill you learn it again, at which point you will be able to master it in a way you couldnt without concious thoughts. Also placebo affect is this in a smaller scale. Adults believe something works, so it works. The power of the mind at work. Physical abilities are connected to your mind. You can have all the abilities, but if you dont have the right mindset, you wont be able to do certain things you otherwise could. Child Pan relearning to fly once she no longer benefits from the living in the moment instinctive baby brain makes sense.
