Panama - Las Perlas Islands 2022 - Popping & Stickbait Fishing

An epic trip to the Las Perlas archipelago fishing with Charles Henry Canto and his fantastic team. Target fish were big Roosters and and the brutal Cubera which smashed us up a few times! One of the few places in the world you can target big Amberjacks on top water too. Loads of topwater action enjoy!

Well presented video with some terrific fish. Roosters certainly have stamina. I was amused that the first one I caught took 20 more minutes to land after the skipper announced a 'technical catch' because the leader knot had reached the tip ring.
