Where my focus ring connects to the camera body it has some sort or break. My whole lens from the focus ring all the way up is loose, trying to find out how to fix that

Do you think the flex cable on a DVX would work as a replacement for an HMC150? They are so similar I feel like it would. I can’t find a replacement flex that is label for HMC150. Also open to do this modification you made but not quite sure the route you took to require that flex cable

yes it will work if you modify the flexcable because there are the same parts just make sure the wire if connected propertly at the both end of the contact..

@@techxian no way! I need to replace my hvx200 flexcable to the lcd screen and have a dvx100 parts camera sitting around. I was thinking maybe they would be the same so i already started opening up my dvx100. which I started to watch this video! I am hoping that when I open it up that it might work. wish me luck!!

yes sir you may replace the flexcable of DVX100B to HVX200 because it is the same parts

@@techxian I opened it up and thought it might work but I have the dvx100a and when I looked at the ribbon cable it looks different. Also when I put the dvx back together all the screens are white so I'm wondering if I didn't plug a ribbion cable all the way in. it's a parts camera so it's no big deal but now it's got me a little worried opening up my main work horse hvx and messing something up. I'm going to try to open the dvx again and see if trying to plug some of the cables in better if that will make the screen work again.

keep up your vids very helpful .if you can i want a video about canon 5dmk2 when its hot glitch and has no functions until i remove the battery and let her cool down by open all the doors when she is cool return to work normaly
