Complaining that this is a selfie taking camera when its designed as a selfie taking camera is like doing a review on a motorcycle and complaining it can't fit 4 passengers and is too small and lightweight. Panasonic already have the GM5 and GX7 for those who want an EVF. Why do they have to make another non selfie EVF camera when they already have plenty? Kai, learn to do a proper review and review this camera for what it is, not what you personally prefer it to be.

DigitalRev TV I can see one more use for that screen. It's a little more convenient than a side-hinged screen for people who want to do solo cooking or crafts videos since it should be a little easier to position and get the screen tilted towards you such that you can see what's going on on it than a side-hinged one is. Or one could just get a friend to control the camera for you while you're doing such videos. But that involves having friends.

Perfect camera for my daughter, can focus in pretty dark situations, has a built in flash, can flip up the screen for selfies, and best of all, picked it up with a 12-32 lens for under $200!

You should do a review of the Canon Powershot G7X. I've just bought it for around £400 UK, it looks amazing, the quality and build are amazing, and I think that it would get people thinking about micro-four-thirds compact cameras! This is a revolutionary camera in my opinion.

This looks another fun and easy to use Panasonic camera. The video looked great, but AF kept missing. Putting the can in face detect could have fixed this issue, though glasses can sometimes trick the AF.

Use one of these with a tiny tele zoom or pancake prime when I've got to take photos in places I'm not supposed to take photos. The IQ is surprisingly good, my results showed it was on par with pro dslr from 2012!

I own GF6 for my wife. the camera is simple in use and have very good IQ. Kai must chouse "face detection" focusing mode - it works fine! especially after face registration in camera - checked in everysecond moving baby ;) thus the camera have some cons: - rechange time is biiiig - about 3 hours. - camera is very lighweight. the typical situation is : "OH! my camera bag is empty!? have I lost my camera!? oups, there is GF6 in here".- the "picturetaking upon video" causes that twosecond videofreezing you can see many times in this clip. but there is second "take picture upon video" mode, no videolaging - but photo will be only equal to video pixelsize.
