What was the deepest depth out of these shots? and which shot? I'm color correcting some footage and everything is very blue. Can't seem to pull out the colors like you did here. Awesome work.

i David, thanks for your kind comments. The sharks have been at around 22m, the Barracudas probably 25m. The reef scenes somehwere between 15 and 20m. The Auto WB is not bad, but often you get better results with manual WB. However, both need correction in post if you want to make them look as best as possible. You need a professional tool like FCPX, Davinci Resolve or Premiere Pro for those corrections.

Hi B, I am getting a GH5 too with an Ikelite case...Q: what lenses did you pick for video ? Can't find a zoom with good macro and support for the 240fps HD...

Hi again. Most clips here where shot with the Pana 7-14 wide angle, some with the Pana 12-35. Both great lenses. For Macro I use the Olympus 12-50mm, which has a dedicated macro mode. But you need a special port, not sure whether thats avail for Ikelite. you‘ll like the Gh5, its a great cam for underwater

Hi, thanks for share this amazing video. I take underwater pictures with gopro, but I have one gh5 and I'm planning to buy one underwater housing to use my GH5 during my dives. I have the lumix 7-14mm Do you think is a good lens to use? The 4.0 is enough about the underwater light? Cheers.

Pedro Medeiros Hi Pedro. the 7-14 will be fine and F4.0 is fine for most situations. Video lights always help, of course.

Mike Gerrie Hi, its quite easy, actually. Just do a search for „before and after transition Fcpx“ ori similar here on youtube. there are many tutorials how to do it.

You would not get quite the same results using a red filter

Sorry to say but you got the sharks wrong. The first one is a Lemonshark and the second is a nurseshark! Awesome work though :)

bubffm I'm gonna be a real pain in the ass now. If you check the second dorsal fin on the shark in your video you see that fin is big while on a bull they are very small. The second thing you can look at to tell the difference is the lower jaw and the teeth. A Lemonshark got those clearly visable pearly whites that pointing forward. The teeth of a bull dont show since the are tucked away protected in the gum.
