The form factor is pretty interesting, but the lack fo 5 Ghz Wifi and no ONVIF compatibility seems like they gimped it unnecessarily. Too bad. I would assume they couldn't do infrared since most windows are likely double pane for better temperature insulation and the IR would have reflected off that second pane. You can buy separate IR illuminators though if you need non-intrusive yard lighting for security cameras like this.

This was the Best Video on this camera I have seen. Thank you so much. I just wish it had sound & you could move it through the phone app, also the view was wider. But it seem really nice. Again thank u

You have shown this camera in landscape , can it also be used in portrait mode? If using IR flood lighting, will this camera see in the dark?

Thanks for the review Lon, but for $150 I think I'll stick to my $20-$25 Wyze and Yi camera's. Although, the app looks good!

According to the Panasonic Team in one of the Q&As about this product on Amazon.com, this camera cannot accommodate SD cards larger than 32GB yet your video appears to show you using a 128GB SD card. Does this camera work with 128GB cards?

Yes I want to know the same thing. I saw the same limitation on Amazon and warnings from other reviewers not to use anything more than 32mb micro ds cards. Did you get a special camera only sent to reviewers that's not available to the public to buy?

This camera will actually accept up to a 1TB Micro SDXC card, and I have a 512GB for mine.

Would be nice to use this with Synology Surveillance Station. The camera having access to the web directly is a security nightmare.

No Home Assistant integration is personally a deal breaker for me. I couldn't go back to using separate apps for all my various IoT devices again. I like the idea of the hardware though.

Wow🤯🤓, That was a very thorough review dude. FYI for my cams around the house although I do have some white light for security👽👻👾 in some areas I have supplemented my outdoor security with some cheap IR floods from amazon. It's really nice to have a dark backyard that just looks like daylight on the video. Way nicer than the IR that is on the cams. Really cool and geeky! You should check them out, I think more people would use them if they knew there was such a thing and it really is nice to have dark at night for looking up once in a while. Thanks for the vids. 🔭🔭🔭🔭

Yup. The only thing these internet cameras are good for is convenience.

I use a plug in power brick usb supply for each of my cameras plus my WiFi cable router. This has given me several hours use during power outages.

You referenced hooking it up to the internet, was that on WIFI, and/or over 4G/5G? Is it possible to hookup for remote monitoring over Mobile Data?

Sensor is only 2 megapixel so license plates even in your driveway will probably not be readable.

Can it connect to a cell phone's wifi hotspot? I'll guess not. In the past I tried connecting a portable computer printer using my phone's hotspot and it didn't work.

I like this camera. The video download doesn't work, and it will fall off the window. I use Scotch tape to secure it.

Not the best looking thing to have in a house window, that looks more at home in a car, bus, van, truck I use a Pi Zero with camera and the red/white official case with hole, much smaller, and light as a feather sick-it, hang-it anywhere Option 2: Stick an old Phone to you window
