Nice christmas lights and cool cordless phones. I like this guy. I love cordless phones, and phones. My Panasonic set from 2006 just died, put in new batteries and won't turn on for more than a split second.

Jordan U I had a Panasonic KX-TG8231B came with 2 KX-TGA820B handsets with color screen. Pretty sleek set, sad to see it go.

I have the Panasonic DECT 6.0 and the double Ranger but the Ranger is on red Why?

The light is usually red for 2 reasons: 1) The extender is too far from the main base unit 2) The extender is not registered to the main base unit

@@RelyRecruitment The range is determined by the environment; you can achieve hundreds of feet with DECT 6 in a clean line-of-sight environment, but usually far less than that in any normal usage scenario.. The DECT 6 Plus technology does have a notably longer range compared to the original DECT 6..

This was a good video. I do have a question. Why did it say 'Line in use?' There were no calls being made on the line. Was it that it was out of range or was it something else? Now I understand that you said that it was out of range. But, why would the phone say something like 'Line in use' when it wasn't at the time? I wanted to know for sure.

It was probably because the connection to the base dropped out.

If you have this particular model, you can add a range extender to the system to improve the coverage..

many thanks for reply - its got good range just signal wont get into container. I had the same issue with CB Radios but stuck an an aerial on top and stuck it out the window. That works fine.

If the building where the base is located faces the window, you may be able to place the range extender in the window, and get reception that way..

Why don't you show us visually how far you are? Where is the base by looking up and letting us see. How far into the house is the base? Look up and show us the distance! Kind of useless video as we do not have an idea of the transmission situation there. The Terrain and the the location of the base in the house is a factor.

That's an invasion in personal privacy. As advertised in many of the videos, the base resides on an outside wall of the house. As also previously advertised, there's a period of open area, then heavy woods. The approximate distance from the handset to the base was underscored many times during the video. Far from a useless demonstration.
