It hasn’t got a ccd has it, its a livemos or whatever they called them. Either way, it does put out nice images.

​​@Yosser70 Yes it has a 5 megapixel CCD sensor. You might be thinking of the L1 which has a CMOS.

Still have mine I got in 2006.. iso100 for colour but 400 for bw. The non eye sensor EVF drives me mad now, but I have same issue with the Sigma fp evf.. picture quality still great if you nail exposure.. and the metering nearly always does. Battery lasts all day. Just wish raw was a little erm less slow. Don't forget to keep your 2GB SD cards..

Oh yes, the evf is so annoying. But I'm always impressed of the image quality. The lens is superb.

Bought 2. Both didn't turn on. Gave up and get the Leica badge version. No regrets.

You think it is worth 150€? They are quite hard to come by so it is difficult to know what a good used price is nowadays.

150 is very good, If It works well. In good condition you may pay more otherwise.

Question (maybe meaningless?): in terms of what comes out of it, how would you compare it with your E-1 (and / or - have you shot this glass on the E-1?)?

The LC1 has a fixed lens, so I can't shoot with it on the E-1 😉 The results of the E-1 are better, because of it's sensor size and the very good lenses. But the LC1 is for it's tiny sensor fantastic! Because of the excellent lens! This one with a newer sensor would be a dream😌. Are you thinking to buy one of these?

Surely this is a Panasonic "L1" (= Leica Digilux3), and a later update was the LC10 ?

Sorry, what do you mean? It's a fixed lens...

@@yesteryearcamerasnot a fixed lens it is a four-thirds sensor, crop factor of2. The lens mount is four-thirds, (and I don't mean micro4/3 which came in a few years later). The earlier Leica Digilux 2 had a fixed zoom Summicron.

@@yesteryearcamerasyou may well be correct as it is such a fleeting glimpse at the start of the video. Both the Digilux 2 and 3 (and their Panasonic equivalents) were, and still are, fine lensed cameras that needed bigger sensors than were then available. In the end the photo world moved on, a few years later, to micro4/3 lens mounts and bigger sensors
