You can use two batteries one in the camera and one in the grip.

it definitely does NOT enable off camera flash with triggers to shoot in burst...only one shot at a time...very sad,as the camera is otherwise very very good,but I cant use it because of this...

I have seen other photographers who are unhappy with Lumix's focusing speed. I guess what Lumix has is good enough to shoot wedding portraits, Landscape, still life, street and on stage performers.
