@@Kivancli79- I don’t really take too much notice of these shootouts.. I’m lucky in that where I live I have a few dedicated AV shops that are able to set up TVs in a dedicated demo room, I’ve bought all my main TVs this way. The one thing I’ve learned over the years is it’s all down to personal preference….what should look the best on paper, doesn’t always turn out to be the best in the viewing room.

I brought a Panasonic 2years ago a TH-55LZ2000Z, I wish I got the 65" than the 55" still it runs well, it has so many setting, crazy. the back setup is different with two small speakers firing from the side and a bass firing up and front row speakers. loud for me. I enjoy the show and reviews - Thanks from New Zealand.

The guy that created the status bar (Windows 95 I think...maybe 3.0) knew there was no way to make it 100% accurate, but he did it anyway because of the psychological effect it has. So there you go, you are correct, sir!

Thank you Caleb for this entertaining unboxing. 😊

1. I also agree that status and progress bars (or percentages), are at least an indication that something is happening with regards to software installation, which is far better than no progress updates and hoping that your shiny new electronic device didn't brick itself when you don't get any feedback from it after several minutes. 2. Working in a different part of the AV industry with Panasonic products, as well traveled as that TV box looks, I assure you that Panasonic engineers have brought us WAY worse looking projector boxes 🤣 Looking forward to the review, Caleb and Zeke!

This is so exciting for me as I'm looking to upgrade my series 6 ROKU 4k, and an oled flagship is too juicy to resist. I'm big on keeping things simple as possible and since my tv room is smallish and plus fact I like sitting really close to screen for immersion, the built in premium speaker system on this Panasonic is huge for me. Can't wait for full review, thank you Caleb!

Fun unboxing!! I really enjoy the spontaneity of the unboxing modality, but I understand your stance that should maybe happen only if there is something unique about it. When you are not getting a fresh box, it’s not quite as fun. I really like the pivoting stand. I agree, status bars would be helpful. I didn’t initially like the thickness at the bottom until I realized it was to accommodate the sound system. The sound is good, but is it as good as a discrete sound system, even a good sound bar? Maybe this TV should be compared to the LG G4, since it’s also MLA, in addition to the A95L. I think it would be fun to have more interaction with you and Zeke (or Chris). Mic them! That was fun! CALIBRATED! You elicited a response from my Alexa-enabled thermostat in the hall a couple of times!! 🤣 Oh, and YES, more singing and foot modeling!

After Panasonic left the US market i acquired a couple of imported models. The Technics sound system allows for frequency adjustment and a level of adjustment i haven't seen on models from Sony or LG. While i prefer its sound to any Sony or LG i'd still want external speakers for an even better listening experience.

Looking forward to the full review. in this video there is a lot of emphasis on the integrated soundbar but only a brief mention of the two vertical side firing speakers, and the upward firing speakers on the back of the TV. Here in the UK the 65" Z95A was introduced at a very uncompetitive price of £3899 which has now been reduced to £2799.

Do the space tune adjustment plug in a good subwoofer in the tvs headphone jack and review this tvs sound system It's really better than you can imagine. Got the lz2000 that still amazes me after two years of use. Got a very good mid range 5.1 system that I just don't open so often after purchasing this TV.

I seriously feel like these don't get used enough. For me I agree, not a fan of the soundbar at the bottom it just doesn't give me a premium tv look. I am also not a fan of the green and red lights at the bottom that would be distracting watching TV. I am sure they can get turned off in a setting.
@ryans413Ай бұрын
I think going back to TVs that have a little junk in the trunk is the way to go. I understand most will probably just have a soundbar and this won’t mater to them but having a tv with nice speakers is a bonus because all the TVs today it’s lacking.

Can you use a pair of alex echo speakers for a bluetooth connected soundbar on tv's like this using fireTV OS just like you would in case of the stick? How about tvs that don't use fireTV OS like sony / google TV or samsung / tisen OS?

I have the Panasonic hz1500b which I picked up on eBay for a steal £160 about 18 months ago. The design is similar to this TV. I don't mind the sound bar, (I don't have the stand) which I don't love. But it probably makes the TV look abit dated compared to the competition. I suppose Panasonic theory is to stick the sound bar on too stick out from the competition. Although I do agree they should have a option without. I currently have it wall mounted, as I don't have the stand. But imo it's not really suited to wall hanging due to thickness. Speakers sound good. And you can change the distance to wall and ceiling in the settings. (And have it just stereo if you want) I would like to try with a separate sub though. As I think that would be even better.

These days, when I look into buying a tv, I don't care one bit about the sound. I'll use my own audio setup for that. I just want the Video and don't like the idea of paying more to get the built in audio. Besides, even the very best build in audio systems in tvs never sound as good as a basic external audio system. Also, I do wish TV manufacturers would put the inputs and outputs in a place where you can get to them once a TV is mounted on a wall so that you don't have to take it off the wall to get to them. I imagine a cable running from the TV to a box that has the inputs and outputs.

The Z95A is probably the best TV on the market, but at least in Europe the price difference between the 65" S95D is 1000 EUR and 800 for the G4, it's also about 900 more than the Philips 909, both the Panasonic and Philips share the better than G4 MLA panel but the Panasonic seems to het the best picture out if the three. Unfortunately i don't think the difference between any of them is worth the price difference. Samsung are being very aggressive on pricing, and the 65" S95D was on sale for 1600 EUR during BF.
