What are you saying!? The government is never stupid. Besides just being cute, pandas are considered exotic ( I mean, it's not easy to still be considered exotic when you're coming from China) And of course, they also boost tourism and represents the friendly relations we have with China. The panda is fluffy and cute so it's also an effective icon for conservation.

I'm a Singaporean, and I find it stupid for the governments for giving the importance on Kai Kai and Jia Jia but not the stray animals, The stray animals just want a home, is it so hard for them to get a loving home? Must Kai Kai and Jia jia get a damn "high-classed" cage or something?
