Dude, you're sure on to something here. It needs more work, but there's a clear potential for awesomeness. I know this is made in a hurry for a contest, and for that purpose it's great, but man what I can imagine it turning into. I'm telling you, what I hear in my head would make you drool.

Thanks mate 🙂 Yeah, really wish I had more time over the weekend to really get dug in deep, and bring these jams to their full potential. But I'm just so busy with everything, it's a small miracle for me, I even get this far. But I'm planning to evolve these jams, and bring them to that festival gig I'm doing next week.

Loved this one! Which pack? I’ve searched so much for psy sounds.
@MarctheDarc
@MarctheDarc Жыл бұрын
Thank you very much 😁 I've created the pack myself, recorded the sounds from various plugins using Ableton. Even the most mediocre synth plugins should have some decent psy presets, if you're not big on sounddesign. Always sample in C, since that's the "original pitch key", so you'll get reliable pitches, when playing them using the Rhythms "keyboard".

@@MariaTD3 Ah. Yeah, that would be an issue then... It's not something I'll be swinging anytime soon, got crazy much on my plate. But reckon I could put one together for you. Probably sometime in the autumn.

Hey mate, long time indeed. I am both amazing and terrible. I have a 4 yo daughter that is simply the cutest thing ever. I'm rebuilding the house from hell. My body is falling apart. And I got a small festival gig in a week. How about you? Psytrance is a cool genre indeed, though I don't think I quite captured it - but with less an hour... Yeah, I'm busy 🤣 Thank you so much for listening and commenting ❤

@@MarctheDarc Hello again m8t, yea i'm keeping busy still making tracks etc, posted a couple on here a couple of months ago, im in the same boat, im decorating as well, its a sodding nuisance haha, after having a major disaster recording my tracks to CD-R's (they all rotted) im now going back to my tried and tested minidisc recorder (SONY JB930QS) for archival of my music, iv'e got recordings here i did 22 years ago that are still 100% perfect, i don't trust CD's or hard drives now. I don't however use any hardware synthesizers any more, my house was getting crammed with unused hardware, i use my MSI GS66 laptop with FL studio, been using this program since 2001 when it was called "Fruity Loops" i'm very comfortable with this amazing piece of software, just plug in your midi controller and you're pretty much good to go with multi-track recording with your own created sounds, i usually do around 8 tracks per song. Avicii used to use FL studio too bless him. I Love psytrance, the goal with this genre is to create the beats that are different than anyone elses, ie: experimenting with kickdrums and various hi-hat layers and make the track around 145 to 151bpm. I love reggae too, but not the slow stuff, mid-tempo (around 115bpm) is my favourite, i'm currently working on a reggae track, if i get time i hope to have it finished by the end of the week and posted on here. nice to hear from you again after all these years. Paul.
