It is always a pleasure to listen to Panditji’s interviews- very informative - makes one proud of Karnataka’s contribution to both traditions of classical music and Panditji’s contribution in particular to global propagation of Hindustani classical form 🙏

What an excellent narration of the contribution of the then Princely Mysore State ruled by the Wodeyars, what an outstanding benevolent altruistic ruler was Nalwadi Krishnaraja Wodeyar, what an excellent contribution of their administration in creating infrastructure in general and for music in particular, that too for Hindusthani music. We never knew that it was Mysore Wodeyars who were responsible to bring several well known Hindusthani Musicians from the north to Mysore and this was responsible for unfurling the Hindusthani music talents in Karnataka. Immense thanks to Prof SR Leela madam for this very impressive interview with Vid Nagarajarao Havaldar for bringing out his scholarship as well as experience sharing for the benefit of listeners.

Guruji, you are a treasure of knowledge. I didn't know that Mysore Wodeyar dynasty was responsible for the spread of Hindustani music in Karnataka. Thank you so much for enlightening me 🙏. Amazing interview! Wish to see more.

Equally nice program in line with part 1. Wodeyars contribution is recognised only by the keen observers like panditji here. I would hasten to add the groundswell of support from mangaloreans too.in my small town of harihar the only opportunities to listen came to us courtesy the local manager of 30 no need store branch:)
