Are you able to get quarters to work for this? I got it so the game will start after you add quarters but after the games going adding more quarters does nothing.

Yes this works with quarters, but depending on game you may need to hold player 1 start button for a few seconds, a menu pops up and then You can select B to add credits

Excellent detailed video as usual. I have 2 questions: 1. I have replaced all my Pandora buttons (16) with Sanwa. But on this control board I can see 4 extra button wholes. How about those? What should be the wiring of those extra buttons and functionalities. 2. Is there any way to use Light guns on Pandora 3d? Thanks and best regards. 😊

The control panel I swap it with is also meant for a rasp pi or pc build incase the customer wants to upgrade. Pandora doesn't use those 4 buttons. No light guns on pandora

Great job! I was wondering if there was a want to mod my Pandora’s box 3-D and add at least 2 more players. So instead of having 2 arcade sticks I would have 4!?

Yea thats doable Pb has I believeb 2 usb slots So u can use any generic usb encoder to add p3 and p4

Well remember... there's the real pandoras box company by 3a which currently is the pandoras box dx. The one I use is a 18s pro... that technically is a fake bootleg pandoras box.

Is there a way you could go over the pandora box options like a tutorial on some ins and outs? Like I’ve had mine for a little bit and just figured out how to connect it to wifi. I bought mine off marketplace so no manual or anything and haven’t been able to find a video that really goes into settings and such.

I have a full size arcade cabinet. It's control panel is wired to JAMMA harness that is plugged into a Pandora's Box DX. If I wanted to add xbox/etc. to my cabinet could I (in theory) daisy chain each control button to an I-PAC, or similar and have both Pandora's Box and Xbox/etc. wired to my control panel? Only one device would be powered at a time to play.

Correct u gotta wire them in sync... see my videos where I have a control panel with pandora and rasp pi in 1. Same theory 🤘

No name cocktail system but running a XXXX Games Family JAMMA board CPU running some old hardened version of windows 2000. Basically a small no frame flex PC board stacked together with a IDE hard disk and powered by a computer 1400 watt power supply. Here is a link with a similar one. "kzbin.info/www/bejne/j2K3oXSHlLFjgKM " I was hoping I could plug a pandora DX 3 sided card into the harness and figure out how to power it correctly. I don't want the PC power supply, too loud. @kerry9098 junk it all and run everything new to the board. U essentially already have the jamma harness, find a pandora with the same jamma but more current pandoras are running home edition jammas... so you'll need to splice

I would connect the 4 buttons on top as my menu buttons basically if exit button is A would split the A button to one 4 action buttons assuming dont plan on changing pandora box just my though

@@Vic_VP well hell! I want to build an arcade cabinet. Do you have time to explain what is needed. Their is not any information about the Raspberry pi. I know the pandora box is plug and play. But is the Raspberry the same? Or do u need to download the games onto it yourself?

Some people have done acti e marquee on pis, I personally suggest PC builds for those tho as a rasp pi is just meh. People expect amazing quality and smooth gameplay on intense 3d graphics games like n64 from a 90$ mini Linux pc that fits in your hand. Best to ask yourself what games do you want to play. This is your first arcade cab and your looking at the active marquee... kind like your going from beginner to expert lol. Pandoras box is super easy, rasp pi you can go to arcade punks and download a image with games... but they are never plug and play easy. Panodras box are super easy and good starter/ beginners setups. You can dm me on insta @vic_vp if needed

@@Vic_VP I am a hobbiest in wood building and I'm a chemical Technician who can get it most electrical problems solved.. the only question that is surprisingly hard to find is, if the PIs have built in games or pre-loaded. Believe it or not, no website answers that straight forward question. They have alot of good you tube videos like yourself that explains very well "How To".

Correct because creators / individuals make the images... like wolfanzo or the Supreme team. Really companies like Nintendo don't like these image creactors which is why you'll never really get a direct answer on configuring. I always day in my videos nothing is plug and play (especially pis and pc builds) It's something you gotta Def research and learn

A coin door is like a button, it has a micro switch like a arcade button. Wire it the same way, you'll most likely need longer wires

Why not use a ohm meter on the joystick to find the wires

Why buy a joystick to gut when buying just the Pandora's box is cheaper?

Negative it's not... at least when the time of filming its not Haven't done a pandora in a while but if you buy the pandora alone your most likely buying only the box... no power supply and no wiring harness. Cheaper to get a deck and gut it and also faster shipping

👍 that's fine but in my experience and current situation getting the included box is cheaper than without. I don't no what 50 quid equals or includes But I pay 100$ for the box. Comes with everything as far as harness, power supply and hdmi cable 🤷‍♂️
