Simones voice in the first few seconds of this song just frikking soars! How about EPICA - Pukkelpop 2014 Aftermovie - The Second Stone, or EPICA - In All Conscience (EPIC METAL FEST Aftermovie) or Epica - The Essence of Silence(read the lyrics for this one) ? These are from the shorter songs by Epica but stand well beside their longer epics.

It still puzzels me why 'In All Conscience' was a bonus track on TQE? it's one of my favorites from the album, hard decisions I guess when the whole album is already incredible

@@watchtheskies The bandmembers vote for the songs, so I suppose that In All consience did not get enough votes and perhaps did not fit into the conteptual string of songs on TQE. It's like on the Holographic Principle where Mark chose for the ballad 'Immortal Melachony' instead of 'Once Upon a Nightmare. The latter got the most votes...

Simone is another Valkyrian goddess like Floor. Off the charts vocal abilities and total control of the stage and the audience. It should come as no surprise that Flor and Simone are long time friends. BTW, Epica casts their work as "metal hyms". You just got a dose of one.
