Fantastic video. Would've loved to hear why the black sun artefact occurs and what exactly is done when the fix is applied, especially since you mentioned Blackmagic originally said they were unable to fix it! What changed?

Thanks so much for the very kind words! I am too stupid to understand the electronics that go into the sensor to describe why this defect occurred. As to BMD saying they could not fix it I suspect they were thinking in terms of a firmware update to the camera being unable to resolve the issue but later on figuring out that they could implement a post fix using Resolve.

Blackmagic have removed the correction in latest Davinci Resolve update 😢
