Math may not be working for Rep Dean but things can change. Keep in mind the polls show a lack of confidence for Pres Biden to run again. Not all voters picked Pres Biden, they voted against Trump. Pres Biden needs to pass the torch. Give more support to keeping Rep Dean in the media so people can make a choice, not a party biased on the incumbent.

As a gen-Z minority Democrat, I think there _is_ some truth to be gained from the numbers. Among my friend group, the majority are either disapproving of or neutral towards Biden. Only one is enthusiastically supporting (also gen Z).

Not very good, I have spent a lot of time with people in that age group, and their health can decline very quickly. It is also very difficult to get them to accept that they can no longer do what they once could. If people are reluctant to tell him now that he can’t be candidate, imagine the reluctance in telling him he is no longer fit to be President, once he has won a second term. This is wilful blindness, on the part of the Democratic Party. The Republicans have been taken over by a cult, and the best they can do to fight it is an 82 year old man.

How can a criminally indicted candidate undermine Biden with independents, the polls are way off even from each other. Republicans can't even smear Joe without their investigations blowing up in their faces. All they have is his age and Trump is only 3 years younger and showing more signs of cognitive decay than Biden. It's always the choice of the lesser evil, inspired or not, that's what politics is, a choice between A or B in any democratic country. Both parties have chosen, choosing not to run against an incumbent is a choice, same as Choosing Trump over all the other candidates. Any one can challenge Biden, so where are they, way haven't they stepped up? Sounds like a choice has been made in both parties. In a country where the plurality of voters has decided not to be a member of either party, they've chosen to leave the choosing of candidates to someone else.
