Lol you sounded a little panicked when the date didn't flip at midnight ... not a quickset date. That's a bit disappointing, but the jumping hour feature is handy.

Absolutely beautiful. I went with the PAM1393 due to the 42mm which for me is the sweet spot. God I love the look of these watches, so beautiful and unique! Considering your wrist, did you ever consider the PAM1393? I can do 44mm but 42mm is perfection.

Nice review; just ordered this same watch and pick it up this week. I’ve got a 7.5inch wrist so the 44mm should fit well. Love that dial!

Love it! Have the 1312 and I am looking to add the 1313 or 1021. Hard to justify the extra cost of the 1021 looking at how stunning this one is.

Does yours hack? When you pull crown to 3rd position does the seconds hand stop? In my 1313 it does not. A few boutiques I called also said it doesn’t stop but in this video it does....

@@fcoussem I reached out with my AD to Richmond directly.... it’s confirmed W series are phasing out the hacking and the P9010 going forward won’t have it. Some still have the hacking movement but it’s gone.... Panerai has cheapened up

Does your P9010 movement hack? My 1313’s version of the P9010 did not hack and they said that’s how Panerai updated it ? I have had P9010 hack before so I wound up retiring the wstch to my AD

Fantastic Panerai with this blue dial and white index. Considering the size of your wrist, a PAM01393 would be a better size IMO

Hi, i have a question: I am about to but a pam1312 or 1313. i went to Wempe and the Panerai shop in Munich. This is what happened: In the panerai shop they showed me a 1313 with vintage indicators and open-work in the back. In Wempe i saw a 1313 with white indicators and closed-back. Same exact thing happened for the 1312. Now i am confused...are there similar 1313s or 1312s with different indicators or back case???

Hi Tommaso, I am not sure what they showed you as 1313 but it is a closed caseback model. For 1312, I think it is open caseback. You can always check the reference number from Panerai's website. (y)

I'm just curious... so, what can realistically happen if someone happens to see the watch serial number. I mean, there is far, far more direct and identifiable information to be had by exposing one's vehicle license plate. Yet, I don't see us covering that as we drive in public. I am just curious, what is the fear of someone seeing a watch serial number based on?Maybe there is a really good reason.

Fake watch makers can copy the numbers and the piece would get validated as an original until they open it up.

Hope you didnt pay retail for this! You can get this for about 40% off with 2020 box and papers in the after market. Rule 1: Never buy a Panerai new!

literally not one single 1313 in the gray market at "40% off with box and papers" lmao!! Rule #1: do your research and know what you are talking about. Cheapest 1313 is with a dealer in China at 13% less than retail, the rest are 5-8% off and MOST are over retail (its a new watch, with low allocations right now).

I actually like buying brand new from all AD. I like the experience and knowing 100% I’m not getting a fake. Plus it’s just part of the fun for me. Don’t give your rules to other people. It’s not your money.
