This song is like if “I want to live” and “dead inside” had a child😂. I love it

And Good To Be Alive from Rise because of the lyrics

I have a feeling "Death Defier" will be the song you will really like. This song is my number 1 off this album. I relate to the lyrics & also Jen's voice is a perfect pairing with John's. She's multitalented playing those drums and singing. Brian Howes produced this track, All that Matters & Not Afraid. Seth Mosley produced Showtime, Unpopular, Defector, Death Defier & Happy Wedding Day. Korey produced "Ash in the Wind." Everyone in Skillet rocks. Thanks once again, Dave! 🙏 🫶 ❤

This chorus hits so hard right now and I’m 49 yrs old…. Hits so hard to the core of my soul…. One of their best choruses and the crunch…

I love this song--one of my favorites on this album.

One of the best songs that's on the CD I think, I was hoping that Skillet would have done an actual music video for this. Hoping that they do a live video for this.

the start, kinda reminds me of a comatose style of Skillet song It’s like a mix between comatose and awake

The production value is different yes, but I didn't care cause I fell in love with it right away lol and for the production for this and not afraid and all the matters, they talked about it's supposed to feel like a live performance feel to it Whatever that means lol And sir that was TFK, Somebody "fire it Up"🔥😂

That's interesting, because the instruments in those tracks immediately sounded more organic to me, if that makes sense. It's just too bad they don't hit as hard.

I hope that when they do a deluxe or special edition for this album they could touch up on these songs that are just missing that extra pump that it needs

@@SGBM2002 hoping the same! Hearing Mosely production on this one is all I want for Christmas

Yeah this song, all that matters, and not afraid we’re produced by Brian Howes, and it’s such a shame they sound the way they do especially since Brian was part of Comatose
@LukeR.5117Ай бұрын
It's interesting because Comatose still has the best sound production in Skillet's discography. Honestly, I'm not too bothered by the mixing here on its own. But one thing I do find annoying is how the sound production isn't uniform throughout the record. I recall Victorious was also like that, and probably the worst offender in that regard.
