I love how everything at the end is 'fixing' itself, at the same time as he's screaming 'nothing's alright'. It's like he's trying to say that even when it feels like everything is broken and overwhelming, healing can happen. Teenage me LOVED Papa Roach's version. Cant tell you how many times i turned the CD on as loud as i could and just get lost. It gave my pain and anger an outlet that i didnt know i needed. And now as an adult i am literally crying each time i hear it. Papa Roach was the extreme anger, and now this is the acceptance of the pain and anger. It hits so different. I have struggled so much with childhood trauma and 2 suicide attempts. Music has been such an outlet. I can finally put my feelings and thoughts into something tangible. I think i have found my new favorite FIR song. Thank you!
