For those wondering what this video is about: The song seems to deal with cheating, as evidenced by the video, where everyone has fish tanks surrounding their heads. We see a girl walking down the street who notices a stray fish (representing a boy). She picks it up and puts it in her tank (representing sleeping with a boy). Her boyfriend finds out and dies. She discovers him, and does the same. The ambulance team, played by the band, puts them in the water, where they are reincarnated, never to surface again.

Notice how everyone is standing perfectly straight and they all look stiff, almost like they're paralyzed. Any small mistake you make can kill you at any moment. I think she "kills herself" to get away from that. at the end when they're underwater it kinda shows that they both broke free because they look truly happy and I think they still might be dead but they're holding each other close for the first time because they always had a giant fish tank in between them. Fancy goldfish can live up to 8-10 years and the single tail variety(like the ones in the video) can live upward of 10-15 years. There's even a record of one living to be 25. Wait, wait. So I think I've figured out the meaning. Fish represent how many people you have slept with. The woman's husband found out that she had cheated and tried to kill himself. When the wife finds the fish leading to his body, that one fish she put in her tank represented her husband. After having flashbacks of her husband, she feels guilty and attempts to commit suicide as well. The ambulance arrives and puts them in tubs of water, keeping them stable. Instead of having hospital buildings, the ambulance drives to the ocean, in which the water is all they need.
