I had to deal with panic attacks pretty much all on my own. I was told "Deal with it" "Push past it!" and initially those comments just made it worse. But eventually (after actual years) I was slowly able to control them. It took a lot of hard effort though.

Excellent work Faisal! And to the other contributors as well. So very brave to talk about this kind of thing.

I suffer with GAD and panic disorder but I'm also hypersensitive to adrenalin so my panic attacks can last for hours, it's hard for me to think this won't last long because they do, I now very rarely leave my house because of them.

hey man you got this ! slowly create a safe place in your mind, and go to that place each time you feel anxious or have a panic attacks. the body will slowly (this will take few weeks) start to create pathways around your anxiety and eventually after a lot of training you'll almost feel better much quicker and the panics attack will get shorter and less significant. You got this man I believe in you !

@@silentheart9325 no different, now also have a diagnosis of PTSD. I try and keep busy when I'm having a panic attack as sitting down makes it worse for me. You would think I'd be used to them by now as I've suffered with them for 30+ years, but I'm not.

My doctor says I’m having panic attacks. I get this sense of dread for no reason, adrenaline rush feeling and light headed. Stops me from wanting to go out.

@@silentheart9325 glad you have seen your doctor about it. Panic attacks are horrible and I wouldn't wish them on anybody, just know you are not alone, sending you some virtual hugs.
