To all my Polynesians, there is no introduction needed for this dish. But to my non polynesians, this is a coconut bun recipe that you all HAVE to try. Malo and hope you all enjoy
Recipe:
1 egg
3/4 cup milk + 2 teaspoon yeast
3 cups flour (save 1 cup aside to gradually add in the mixing process)
1/4 cup coconut oil (or canola prefer)
1/4 cup sugar - for the dough
1 can coconut milk + 1/2 cup water
1/4 cup sugar - coconut milk
1 teaspoon butter (to knead dough)
1 teaspoon oil
(Additional tablespoon flour for dough if its too sticky)
