Just got a new sdc sean, went out and had a run with it last week. Only got lead, nails, shell casings, wire old timer boot tacks and some large chunks of iron. the creeks i like to work are still dry, and i mean dry, first time for about 80 years and there's no ground water. so after smashing bedrock and only getting crap decided to run it along the bed of the creek where i got three big bits of iron about a foot down lying on the bottom no bedrock clay bottom. so i scrapped up the last inch of gravel plus about an inch of the clay bottom. probably half a pan got about .15g of chunky pickers. good tools for finding the paystreak these detector thingys eh!. The Missus might have to go do a week or two working at wagga uni soon asked me if i would come along, so I might get in contact and see if your up for a days digging while im there. I usually work areas between black springs, essington, trunkey creek, tuena , burruga. as I like to chase gem along with the gold. cheers mate keep up the good work. PS pardon the grammar I'm just boofy fella and worked with my hands all my life not a pen!.

Nice video you have sir..i got my gold monster recently sir, i have a problem detecting shallow objects because it keep on chirping when in water. I cant dstinguish metallic object because of water. Hope for advice from you sir.tnx much

That gold monster is pretty sensitive haha finding tiny bits of wire that's cool shows how small pieces metal it will find just have to swing it over gold and be sweet as. I have a garrett AT gold and it's just as sensitive finds tiny bits of wire, heck I managed to detect wire bristle off a wire brush haha.

I never leave home without it, the gold monster 1000 is a great tool to have, it can find the smallest specks of gold, you just need to put hours in the field using it to understand everything about it. It’s great for a beginner starting out gold hunting, but it’s no pulse induction Machine, it’s a vlf machine, and you need to learn about vlf detectors to truly understand there limitations.. If your wanting a cheap detector for gold, go the gold monster, if you want to hunt gold and coins I’d go the nox 800. If your thinking pulse induction machine to handle heavy ground mineralization, I’d go the sdc 2300 because it’s cheap and it works fantastic up against bigger more expensive machines
