September 28 1983 I was 12. HBO our only movie channel. We watched everything on it.

When I saw the preview for The Toy it brought back so much memories. I used to watch it all the time. It was my favorite movie. This is when we couldn't afford a VCR.

completely different world 40 years later.. Everything was so hyped up, and alot of thought put into every little detail.. Now it's technology.. Everything seem so happy then, but I was only 5 at the time..

At this time, the two TOP movie channels were HBO and The Z Channel. Z Channel was the superior. But it’s demise was HBO’s gain, and is what HBO should be grateful for!

How sad that most of those comedians have passed on, except for Billy Crystal, Gabe Kaplan & Joe Piscopo. Also, William H. Macy was in Sitcom.

I remember when Risky Business (1983) starring Tom Cruise was only shown at night. All time favorite.
