I subbed after watching your lions and sky pilot summits. I’m saddened by the fact that your amazing videos have only garnered you a hundred and fifty subs.

It was just past sunrise that I started, and I hiked for around half an hour in the dark on the way back

Nice work! I do self filming too very often at the trail, takes time, leave camera on a tripod on the ground, walk away, then back to grab the camera, continue walking, then do it all over again. I look crazy at the trail and doing so adds up to the hiking time as well, LOL!

Hi! What kind of gadget did you use to film your hike like that? Stunning!
@BCHiking4 жыл бұрын
If you’re talking about the summit shot, I used a Ronin RS2 with the camera connected to the RavenEye module which connects to the gimbal, then I use active track on the Ronin RS2 to follow me!

Just wondering, who recorded the video since you were hiking alone?
@nuwenese4 жыл бұрын
Place camera, film walking, back track, pick up camera, repeat.

Somebody was filming at 7:41 though? How did you get it to pan like that? Edit: never mind I saw the post credits blooper scene.

Amazing video!!! I was gonna ask you is someone is filming with you but I got the answer at the end. 😆 But do you go up and come down to pick up the camera and go again? 😮 I wish I can hike Panorama ridge someday.
@BCHiking4 жыл бұрын
Yup it’s an extra few km’s back and forth to film it. I’d recommend waiting until the summer to hike this! The wildflowers are beautiful when they’re in season

Awesome view, and great camera work! When did you go up? I was here last weekend and don't remember seeing that big ass tree fallen on the switch backs up to the lake?
@BCHiking4 жыл бұрын
This was on Nov 6th, and yeah I was surprised to see that tree too! Its pretty huge though so it'll probably be a permanent addition

Hey Kevin! This hike is in Garabaldi Provincial Park in BC. The route I took up starts at the "Rubble Creek Trail head". At this time of year, you'll need to reserve a day pass online on the BC Parks website! Have fun!
