Despite not being included in the video, I really appreciate that u put a quick way to deal with the accelerated Panov attack in the PGN file. Nice Details 👍

My final words: I will now be able to play the Caro Kann on a good level and I appreciate that. You're very good at explaining which makes your videos easily understandable. The only issue I have is that the Masterclass is too short in my opinion. To fully understand the concepts and dominate with the Caro-Kann you should know a few more (pretty rare I gotta admit) sidelines such as the Tal Variation, The Beyer Variation, The Accelerated Panov etc. These 3 variations you'll likely encounter occasionally and then it's good to be prepared. However despite my criticism I wanna put my emphasis on the way you're presenting this kind of content and your creativity such as coming up with your own ideas and presenting them to us. Overall I'll rate this series 10/10 and do recommend it.

Thanks so much! Indeed it could be longer, but I felt that for a lot of people it will suffice

Great series! Keep up the good work! Any plans to make a similar master class on the London?
@ChessGeek12 жыл бұрын
Not anytime soon. Tbh, I used to play London, but I have not in recent years, but also, there is already SO much content on London, it might become repetitive on youtube.

Well explained, thanks! On 8:30, tho what if white responds with Ng5? That looks like trouble. What would be the game plan then?

Hi i used to play the Pirc and decided to look for a better repertoire…just finished the caro and loved it it’s very solid but noticed u also have the dragon course…which one do you recommend !
@ChessGeek12 жыл бұрын
They are fundamentally different. Caro is solid and safe. Dragon is aggressive and risky. It depends on your playing style, and what you want to achieve as black (are you okay with draw, or do you want the larger chance to win even at the risk of losing)
@salemtv58082 жыл бұрын
@@ChessGeek1 well i think dragon is the better cousin of the pirc…and since i really enjoyed your master class on the caro i believe it’s wise to chose being solid… specially for someone low rated like me struggling with calculations…have you considered coaching or playing against subscribers (like most streamers)?
