ILS footprint does not clamp to Rwy.

Yeah, this is just showing the plan view. You would need to add the Z values to the vertices in order to have a 3D view but most tools can actually do the calculations in 3D based on the formulas without having the actual surfaces extruded. It all depends what your end goal is.
