BGT: I think it's a point of concern that our batter aren't clicked in test for a bit , but a more big concern that we're going to aus without shami becoz in aus you need such a good pace attack that can make you win from nowhere. We need that good 1 hr (like our 36 allout) in aus at times. A lot more will depend upon Sir Mr. LOKESH RAHUL for the resilience which puji bhai showed in bgt 2021. We need someone to hold the wicket from one end. And ofc Our Captain Rohit sharma, pls do change your approach like you did in eng series when india tour to england. You and rahul gave us a very decent and strong start in swinging conditions. Dhruv Jurel is the next big thing in World cricket, great technique monk-warrior mindset, just never gives up. I am not saying for what he played against Aus A side got in in a day and played like its a video game, just makes great bowlers look average in difficult situations and pitches - He did it to Anderson and Co. on seaming Ranchi track in India , did it to Bumrah in an intra-squad test match in South-Africa's track, plays spin equally well. Rishabh is already the best wk batsman in tests currently. Jurel, Stubbs, Jaiswal , Gill, Rachin , Kamindu are some of the talents to look out for. Rishabh tough is 26 , is ahead of rest.

It is not as dumb as you think, and he doesn't mean every over. It could be for a session or two. Anyways, if there are 2 wicket-keepers who fit the best 6 batsmen then both should play anyday.

One rule I'm surprised hasn't been exploited, but I would like the loophole to be closed anyway, is having no keeper in the XI but subbing them on as sub-fielder. Because the rule is they can't bat until 5 wickets have fallen if they are subbed off, it makes no real difference to keepers because they usually bat at 7 anyway. Occasionally this occurs when a keeper picks up a minor injury or have batted for a long time in the previous innings. I've never liked a sub-fielder being allowed to take the gloves. I'd have it so only players named in the XI can keep wickets. Unless it's for a hand injury.
