One of the best covers I’ve heard on KZbin the harmonics are right on point very hard to catch them perfectly it can be overwhelming once you’ve played it 500 and still manage to miss one

Most underrated guitar channel on KZbin hands down. Best playing and editing 🔥

I have to admit in all honesty that your videos where very impressive before I started taking guitar lessons, but now that I'm 4 months into guitar school they are on a whole new level 😲

Thanks for sticking around, Daniel. Much more to come, but these videos take me a long time to create. I put a little more than 50 hours into the recording/mix alone.

Hi!! Man you are awesome and your guitar tone is great!!! Which amp or pedal do you use for this uniqe tone??? 🤘🏻
@BretSnyderMusic Жыл бұрын
Thanks. I used 3 acoustics for the intro (nashville-strung guild, taylor 814, and a nylon-strung yamaha). Everything else was through a Line6 Helix direct into Pro Tools. I went through a lot of revisions, but I think I ended up using the Fatality amp model. The end-squeals were a modified patch of the original tone with more overdrive and the compression cranked for more sustain.

Fuck yes, duuuuuude, and the end squeals!!! Fuckk yess man sick as always dude, if it's not too much trouble, could u link what you're doing for those tones, prob the most accurate I've ever heard for the lead stuff.
@BretSnyderMusic Жыл бұрын
Thanks for the comments! That tone is a combination of 3 things: 1) I changed my bridge pickup from a Tone Zone to a Bill&Becky Bill Lawrence L500-XL. There are some prominent YT channels that claim pickups don't make a difference in tone. Those people are wrong. It can make a significant difference in that attack of your tone. That said, it's important to find a matching neck pickup when you swap out the bridge. I left the stock Norton Air in place and turned the guitar from a jack-of-all-trades to a master of two. Most of the pickup positions produce so much noise that they're unrecordable, but there are 2 positions that have a masterful tone (one for clean, one for overdrive). I believe Dime used a Duncan '59 in the neck as a more compatible pickup combination. 2) Line 6 Helix Floor. The amp and cab modeling in their latest line of pedals is unreal and years later, they're still regularly adding new amps and cabs. If you have a Helix or pick one up, I'd be happy to share these patches with you. The end squeals are from a separate patch that are really only good for that one thing. I cranked the gain and compression up so high, that the patch isn't good for anything else. 3) Post-production mixing. EQ, saturation, stereo-widening, delay, reverb, etc. You can go down an expensive rabbit hole, but if you get into mixing, I can give you a short list of plugins that I've found to be worthy to me.
