anything Phil has ever done has been badass...why should he be embarrassed?
@Steveo3332

That's why I love Pantera not just because of the music because of the players. I love it because they don't act like rockstars.if you would probably got a rock star as a question like he would have been boasting in this and that about it.

I hate to hear that he is somewhat embarrassed by this song, but at the same time kinda love hearing it...Strength Beyond Strength is some of the most balls out metal I've ever heard. And just for the record, "I'm bone brain and cock" is one of my all time favorite lyrics still to this day, no matter how juvenile it may sound. Fucking tell 'em Phil

"Far Beyond Driven" is my favorite Pantera album. This song was so fucking strong. What a masterpiece. It's true brilliance all the way around. The fact that this album went to #1 on the Billboard top 200 when it first came out is fucking mind-boggling! It's undoubtedly the most successful heavy metal album of all-time.

Crazy ...I heard this as a teenager and even then I had enough brains to say lol wut? & steer the ship in another direction. Pretty much was a crystal ball of where things were headed with that band. I'm sure the ones working for "perfect bodies, perfect minds and perfect neighbors" came out ok in the end in comparison.

Yeah a little surprised. That's an inspiring song when you're in high school or early 20s, and you're life's not exactly perfect. Crank up this song, full of angst & piss & vinegar & scream at the world in frustration. I'm 48, I still remember being 19, mad at the world, approved for next to nothing for college loans 'cause I made so much money working in high school. I listened to Pantera through all those years, pissed off at the whole world 'cause life ain't fair. Then I f-ed up my back🤪 10 years later like Phil
