Pan taught me more about automotive detailing than anyone, and he seems super intelligent, hard-working, and honest. (Plus a fellow Canadian, for bonus points). Part of me wonders if him having his own line of detailing products will introduce a bias that will compromise the integrity that we have come to appreciate from him, but on the other hand, I think he has so much to lose if this happens because his brand (1M subscribers now, wow!) is built on his honesty. I trust Pan and think he’s going to have some great products. It’ll be convenient to be able to buy several different types of detailing products from one place that are very likely to be among the best, and (eventually when the products I currently have and use run out), I look forward to trying some of these. Pan, I wish you all the best with your new endeavours, and the future of your amazing KZbin channel! Sending you lots of love from Edmonton!

That was one of the goals. But I’m also one to welcome competition, not be scared of it. If a brand comes up with a better product, it will be a pleasure for me to test and then have my chemists figure out how we can do better as new technologies and materials become available, so I can always make sure we stay on top of innovation and R&D.

Congratulations Pan. I bought the spray sealant for its durability claim alone. And your Rinseless Wash. I have I kind of related question tho. Why do other companies even sell IPA/Panel Prep sprays in the first place? If you have to degrease to completely remove everything anyway, what’s even the point? It drives me crazy. Can you please provide some insight? Thank you and congratulations again and happy support!
@PanTheOrganizer3 ай бұрын
Not sure I understand your question. A panel prep spray is meant to remove polishing oils and residue before applying a protection, especially crucial before applying a ceramic coating. Coatings need to bond directly to a virgin clear coat free of any previous protection or polishing oils. That’s why all coating brands sell a panel prep spray.
@jamierodriguez45623 ай бұрын
@@PanTheOrganizersorry if the question was worded improperly. What I mean is, panel preps don’t remove 100% of residue, so companies (such as GYEON) recommend in their instruction manual that you also spray the vehicle down with degreaser to ensure all 100% of residue after polishing before applying a coating. So if I have to spray degreaser all over to fully remove the oils, wouldn’t it make sense to just use the degreaser alone and skip the panel prep?

For me, there’s a difference here. I think I can speak more many - I’ve been watching Pan for years because I am entertained. More importantly, I trust him. He’s been reviewing chemicals for many years, and I’ve found his results, his impressions, ring true while I use those same chemicals in my own garage. I’ve agreed with his assessments on an annual basis during his annual awards shows. He’s built our trust and maintained it for years. I do not question his claims. I do not question the work, or the research that went into this. That doesn’t mean I won’t remain open-minded or critical during my own use. I’m confident I won’t be disappointed. I don’t become too excited about launches anymore as they are almost a dime a dozen. That’s different here. Congratulations, my friend. I am also a fan of you utilizing the distribution network of another up-and-comer, THOR. That’s supporting other passionate detailers. That’s also a fundamental characteristic of Pan’s, and I find that special as well. Congratulations Pan. Always watching.

Pan, holy cow, this is awesome. First, congratulations on this endeavor, I couldn't be happier for you. You definitely deserve all the best in your future prospects with CLEAN, and I am so excited to start using these products. I am also in the works on the next stage of my detailing journey. I started as a mobile detailer and now am in the process of getting a shop so I can do this all year round and I owe most, if not all of my knowledge up until now to YOU Pan. You have taught me so much about detailing for years now, everything from a basic two bucket wash, all the way to ceramic coating applications. What started as an interest when I got my first car in 2020, turned into a hobby, which turned into a passion and now, a business I hope to pursue for life. So, I had to give you your flowers for that and once again thank you. I already had so many questions about these products, but as always, you are SO informative and have answered so many already. I watched this video twice to make sure I got everything, but I still had a few questions. First of all, in terms of the 8-year ceramic coating, how did you come to this durability claim? This is something you have brought up in past videos about other companies making a claim about longevity and questioning what methods they have used to arrive at that conclusion. And although I am sure there are many controlled tests and methods, at the end of the day, the reality will be revealed (as you say haha) in the real world. In that sense, especially without toppers being needed, is the 8 years claim valid even for vehicles in harsh environments like Canada? In other words, what sort of testing was conducted to test the durability in the first place to arrive at the conclusion that this coating would last 8 years? Speaking of harsh Canadian winters, as a fellow Canadian, I KNOW first hand that a lot of coatings get destroyed in the winter because of salt from roads and the harsh weather generally speaking, especially for cars that are not garage kept/maintained. As detailers, we always ensure OUR cars are always kept in ideal conditions to maintain our coatings, so on that note, you say in the video that no topper is needed for both your ceramic coatings, however, does that also hold up in the example I presented? Would you encourage people/detailers to add your ceramic spray sealant as a maintenance product for people in these harsh environments, or do you still say that it is not needed for these specific ceramic coatings? In that same vein my second to last question is, does your ceramic spray sealant mask the hydrophobics of your ceramic coatings if used in conjunction together? In other words, are these products chemically compatible and work seamlessly with each other, or do they serve two completely different purposes? I ask this because like you have also said in past videos, sometimes companies will make all their products to be chemically compatible with each other, so in some cases it is encouraged to use the same brand for specific instances (i.e., an IPA, ceramic coating and toper/maintenance product from the same company) like, Duraslic’s FlowX will boost, compliment and rejuvenate their Xtreme/HG coatings, or CarPro’s reload will maintain the protection and finish quality of their CQUARTZ coatings. Lastly, just a simple question, you said that only one coating is needed for the application of the ceramic coatings. Would it be okay to apply 2 coatings though? Some ceramic coatings will also say one coating is enough, but I usually apply two coatings regardless just as you have recommended before for other one-layer type coatings, just to ensure even coverage. Will applying a second layer be detrimental? I am so sorry for asking so many questions! Although most of these questions will probably be addressed in your specific videos on each product, I at least wanted to bring them to your attention so they may be addressed then if not now. I absolutely commend you for making these professional level products available to EVERYONE no matter their detailing experience. I am in the process of becoming a certified installer for Duraslic’s coatings (through your previous videos on them) because I wanted to use their coatings for my own business since there are not any installers in my area; just to have a bit of an exclusivity to what I offer for my clients. However, I am even more excited to use your products (especially your ceramic coatings) now for the same reasons and MORE. Which is why I really do love the fact that unlike other brands, you made accessing your products easy, affordable and not locked through paid memberships/training programs. I guess this is also why I had so many questions, because these products are not just for my joy, but for my business and my customers. Thank you again Pan, and congratulations. Cheers to my and your future endeavors :) Ahmed Khalil

Good for you, Pan. I really love how you have a keen eye for simplicity while still providing a solid amount of understandable information. I feel like it takes a special type of individual to provide a line up like this one. You seem to have thought about every little thing: •Every other line up seems to have an essay of instructions, making it so difficult to determine the proper use of the product, you simplified that. •You obviously crafted the line up in the order of proper vehicle washing, perhaps adding a number stating the step in which the product is used would even further simplify things! •Branding is chef’s kiss. This will look great on shelves and you definitely thought of that and even mentioned it. I love how excited you are about this. This is passion. When using the Ceramic Spray Sealant, are the microfiber towels "washable"? If so, how to wash them? I suppose the product becomes quite hard while drying?
@PanTheOrganizer2 ай бұрын
You have to wash the towels immediately after use, or put them in a bucket with a rinseless wash solution while you wait to wash the towels. This sealant cures and is very stout. So if you don’t wash the towels the sealant will cure on the fibers and make them less absorbant over time.

Pan I purchased your ceramic coating I don’t know if I can get the car completely done in one day can I do a panel at a time every weekend. What are the disadvantages?
@PanTheOrganizer3 ай бұрын
First time I see a question like this. I wouldn’t recommend that. As you would likely accumulate contamination over the weeks on the bare clear coat by the time you get to the last panel and that’s not good. Do it once, do it right as you will get years of protection here. You could split the process in two days if you wanted. Day 1: wash the car, use iron remover to remove brake dust, clay the paint, machine polish the paint to remove previous protection (crucial) and remove swirls/scratches, use the panel prep spray to remove polishing oils. The next day, start by using the panel prep spray again to remove light dust if the vehicle was indoors. If it was outdoors, wash the car dry it and use panel prep again to remove any residue. Then apply the coating.

But if you’re using another brand’s rinseless wash and want to use a drying aid on top, yes you can use my Ceramic Spray Sealant. One or two sprays max per panel, and use a microfiber drying towel to dry. Wash the towel immediately after use as the sealant is stout and you don’t want it to cure on the fibers. You can use it weekly on a wet surface if you want. It’s applying it on dry where you wouldn’t use it too often as it rejects itself, it’s that stout.

I can say from experience, having done many videos in the past with the biggest world brands, that even they weren't prepared for the size of my audience despite their best efforts. When my video would drop, things would quickly sell one or two days later, and then a few weeks before restock was even possible. So this is nothing new here. At the end of the day, these are humans working to produce the chemicals, and humans working in warehouses to pack and ship things. My viewers mostly understand this and are patient. I know The House Of Rags is doing everything in their power to ship as quickly as humanly possible, and did increase the number of people working at the warehouse to help. We have to also give new businesses a break. Not everyone can do the next day shipping like Amazon. Our society has become spoiled with having those things in my opinion. And we tend to forget that Amazon too was once a startup company in a little garage some place, shipping books out one at a time... Anyhow I hope you'll enjoy the products as that will count the most in the end. Hard work went into creating them. There are a lot of things out of my control though at this point. Congratulations Pan, Félicitation Pan. i have a question with the ceramic bottle can we do 2 cars, i have a Nissan Qashqai and a Rogue is it enough to do both of them?
@PanTheOrganizer3 ай бұрын
For coating the paint yes absolutely. One bottle can cover two average size cars. If you plan on also coating the paint, glass, wheels, plastics, lights, etc I would get two bottles to be safe, as it depends how much product you use. No two people apply the same amount hehe. You'll see a video soon where I stripped off the existing coating on my girlfriend's Nissan Rogue which was failing (from another brand), and decided to apply my own 3-year coating. I coated all the paint, glass including windshield, plastics, and wheel faces (not a wheels off detail), and used a little less than half the bottle.

Greetings Pan! My CBPtO Ceramic Spray Sealant is expected to arrive this week. I've been using Adam's Graphene boost, including last time at about 4 weeks & 4 washes ago. Is there any product I should (or should not) use - ie alcohol prep, etc.. before using my new CSS? I intend to do the full wash & dry, then go CSS. Also - winter is approaching fast, and I'm stuck working outside. I expect temps about 40 deg (f). Can probably work inside at work on my weekend if there's free hanger space if I have to. Thanks!
@PanTheOrganizer2 ай бұрын
40F is too cold to detail. I would never recommend that people detail in temperatures below 50F. If you want the full effect of the ceramic spray sealant, you’d have to machine polish your old protection off, then use a panel prep spray. Then apply the first layer on dry paint. From then on, use it as a spray on rinse off, or drying aid, on wet paint in both applications. You wouldn’t use the dry application often, as this sealant is stout and will reject itself as it actually cures on the surface. If you just want to use it as a topper over your existing protection, wash the car, rinse it, and then use the spray on rinse off method or drying aid on wet paint with your drying towel. Never use more than one or two sprays per panel. I hope this helps!

Hey Pan. I bought your Polish, Panel Prep, and 8 year coating to test and I have a question about the polish. Is it similar to the DIY Spray Polish where I can just leave it on the surface when doing a 2-step for efficiency or do I need to remove between the 1st and the 2nd step like other polishes? Thank you!
@PanTheOrganizer2 ай бұрын
You can leave it on the surface. But I still prefer to remove after the compound step to observe the level of defect removal that you did. Inspecting your work as you go is important, so you see if you need a different pad or more passed. Congrats on getting those products and thanks for your support! Don’t forget to follow the instructions and enjoy detailing!

I couldn't find it anywhere in your videos, but do you use anything specific to clean exterior trim besides the car shampoo you already use on the rest of the vehicle? Not a dressing but a cleaner. Would exterior trim be the one place dish soap would work well? Thanks!
@PanTheOrganizer2 ай бұрын
I’m not sure I understand your question. Once you wash your car using soap, it should be clean. What process do you also perform on your trim that would require anything more?
@TRK-up2zw2 ай бұрын
@@PanTheOrganizer Sorry I wasn't clear, I'm just wondering if you use a dedicated exterior trim cleaner on a regular basis. Should I assume all of them have properties that would degrade a sealant so should only be used when doing decontamination?

Hey Pan! Love this!! I am an Aircraft detailer. My question is, what is the temperature resistance once it is cured? As you know aircraft go thru drastic temp changes in seconds or minutes. And some ceramics can’t handle a -40 degree F or above 250 degree F thank you!!! So stoked about this!
@PanTheOrganizer3 ай бұрын
Hi Angel. I don't detail aircrafts, but I asked my chemists your question and am happy to report you should have no issues with my coatings. They told me that the coating will start to break down once the temperature is above 300 Celcius (575F). The low temperatures or changes in temperature will not impact the coatings. Hence why my coatings are also perfect as wheel coatings as that is a harsh environment for heat. (Wheels typically get in the 120-200F range). I hope this answers your questions. And thanks for your support by the way!

It’s impossible to test for every product combination especially when it comes to using stuff from other brands. Nobody can guarantee performance. How many times should the wool, foam and finishing pads should be changed using Spray Polish while detailing?
@PanTheOrganizerКүн бұрын
There isn't a said rule for that. There are usually two ways of doing this, regardless which compound or polish you are using. 1) Either have multiple pads and change pads often during the paint correction process. Typically, 4 to 6 pads and change pads every other section. 2) The other method is to have a pad washer and clean the pad after each section. That way you can keep the same pad for the entire paint correction process, cleaning it often. In this second method, I would get 2 pads of each (one to use, and one in backup just in case). Here's the pad washer that I use: bit.ly/3VMPfnC You can see me using it in the video about my new polishing pads here: kzbin.info/www/bejne/b32Vi4qvm7iaaacsi=UuUt0EIVTIuM3xvL Both methods still have the same goal: keep clean pads for the paint correction process. As working with clean pads is crucial for proper paint correction. Dirty pads with spent polish reduces the efficiency of cutting and finishing. Working clean is key. I hope this helps!

Not on dry paint. It's so stout that it will reject itself. So one layer on dry paint (clean, decontaminated well prepped paint) for maximum durability. And from then on, for maintenance, you can use the Ceramic Spray Sealant on wet paint (as a drying aid) for maintenance.

First of all congratulations! I wish I would have know sooner, just bought other ceramic coating. Question, I'm confused, why would you put CLEAN ceramic sealant (6 to 12 mo.) Over a 3 to 8 year product? What happens when sealant wears out? Does that ruin the paint coating?
@PanTheOrganizer3 ай бұрын
You don't have to apply the Ceramic Spray Sealant on top of my coatings. My coatings don't require toppers. All you need to do is regularly wash your car, and decon when needed. But if someone wants to use the Ceramic Spray Sealant on top of the coatings, they sure can. There's nothing wrong with that. It will just boost gloss and slickness even more hehe. And when the sealant wears out, it doesn't ruin the ceramic coatings at all. Quite the opposite. The spray sealant will have protected the coating underneath. ;) You can use the Ceramic Spray Sealant on its own too if you want, on unprotected paint. And you'd get 6-12 months of protection.

The product never dried , just kept showing haze. I waited an hour, used product on dry car, same results, never able buff to a dry surface. Suggestions ?
@PanTheOrganizer2 ай бұрын
I’m confused. You used it with a wet rag and then hosed off? It’s one or the other not both. Either you use it as a drying aid meaning a few mist on the surface, then towel dry. Done. Or, use it as a spray on rinse off sealant, meaning one or two sprays on the surface, rinse off, move to the next panel. Once the entire vehicle is done, you can blow dry the vehicle. Don’t overapply. Less is more. And before using the spray, the vehicle must be clean, so the wash process must be over. For any comments, concerns, you can also contact The House Of Rags: By Phone: 1- 800-686-9259 E-mail: support@thehouseofrags.com Or starting a live chat directly on their website.

@PanTheOrganizer2 ай бұрын
Yeah that’s not how it’s meant to be used. As the instructions state, it’s a drying aid (spray on wer surface and dry with towel), or used as a spray on rinse off (spray on wet surface, immediately rinse off, then dry the car). In your case, you sprayed on wet, then started wiping, and then rinsed off. A light polish should correct that. You can also try just washing the car next time, then dry it, and then use the spray on dry paint. Always important to follow the instructions to a T. This is a pretty stout spray sealant. If properly applied, it flashes off nicely and doesn’t steeak or haze. You should feel slickness as well. Never overapply. One to two sprays max per panel. I hope this helps! Again feel free to reach out to customer service, they are great 👍🏻

Thanks for your support! Make sure you read the instructions of the coating before applying, as I made them super simple to read and quite clear. Like for any coating, you want to prep your paint thoroughly before applying. 1) You should wash your car using a wax-free pH neutral soap (a soap that doesn't contain any protection in it). 2) Use an iron remover to remove brake dust and iron contamination. 3) Clay the surface if it needs claying (meaning if you feel grit or contamination when touching your paint). 4) Machine polish with at least a polishing pad and polish, to ensure 100% removal of any previous protection that's on the paint. This is CRUCIAL as you want to ensure there is nothing but bare clear coat left. Coatings need to bond to a virgin clear coat. 5) Use the Clean Panel Prep Spray to remove polishing oils and residue. This should leave the paint squeaky clean, and the paint should feel grabby at this point, indicating there is no protection left. No need to rinse after the panel prep step. The panel prep has alcohol in it and will evaporate as you wipe. 6) Now you are ready to start applying the coating as per instructions. Many drops to prime the microfiber applicator pad (that is supplied in the box) and then apply in cross hatch pattern on the surface. Wait 1-2 min and you will see a rainbow effect (color change) like oil slick on water. That's the visual indicator that it's time to start levelling the coating. 1st towel to level, 2nd clean and dry towel to buff to a streak free shine. I will have a demo in depth video about the coating coming soon, so you can watch that too! The panel prep spray you can actually use a glass cleaner if you want. Can be used in direct sunlight too. And is safe on tinted windows as it doesn't contain ammonia. I hope this helps.

Congratulations! Question, where did you get that bottle that you squeeze into that measuring section so you don’t have to have a second measurement cup? Also I’m just now starting a mobile detailing business and I’m excited to try your products out!
@PanTheOrganizer2 ай бұрын
It was only a test bottle sent by the lab, but costs were to high and it would have increased the price of the products. Thanks for the congrats Decklan! I appreciate it!

Congrats-Just ordered one of everything! Quick question: will your rinseless affect the properties of a ceramic coating?
@PanTheOrganizer3 ай бұрын
Nope, my rinseless wash will play nicely with any coating. It doesn't leave anything that cures on the surface behind, no residue. More in depth videos coming soon where we show all that. It's the first rinseless wash I'm actually excited to use. I found myself using it often in the past months on my own Porsche! :)

What's the best wax for ceramic coated cars that can hide light scratches? Any recommendations?
@PanTheOrganizer2 ай бұрын
Don’t apply waxes on ceramic coatings. You’d be masking the superior properties of the coating and the coating will end up rejecting the wax anyways. If you use proper washing and drying methods, you shouldn’t have any scratches.

@@PanTheOrganizer That's my problem due to improper carwash it resulted to minimal/light scratches. So I wanna ask how to hide or treat those scratches?

Bonjour Pan, Is it safe to take a car with ceramic coating through an automatic car wash, particularly the “safe touch” kind, or is it not recommended? Felicitation pour le lancement de vos produits j’hate à les commander!!!
@PanTheOrganizer2 ай бұрын
Merci!

Your ceramic coating sounds awesome for chemical protection and hydrophobic property. Will glazes/sealants/ waxes and still be relevant -in any combination and order of application? After protection my goal is to maximize depth, clarity, and shine!
@PanTheOrganizer2 ай бұрын
You don’t use glazes, sealants or waxes on top of ceramic coatings, as you’d be madking the coating’s superior properties. Coatings are already super glossy so you wouldn’t be needing those other protections anyways. Also, don’t forget that the biggest increase in measurable gloss and clarity ALWAYS comes by machine polishing. Removing oxidation, swirls and scratches and making the clear coat flatter makes for better light reflection and thus more gloss. Then you use a panel prep spray to remove polishing oils and then you apply the protection. The protection is like the cherry on top. But the best gloss always is from paint correction.

How much time after 8 year coating application can you apply a glaze or wax.. even though not needed
@PanTheOrganizer3 ай бұрын
Don't do that! Never apply glazes or waxes on top of a ceramic coating. You'd be masking the superior properties of the coating, and the coating would end up rejecting those anyways so you'd be wasting products. Just wash the car regularly, as my coatings don't even require toppers. And if you want to use something to boost gloss and slickness, or a drying aid if you're towel drying after a wash process, you can use my Ceramic Spray Sealant, or any other ceramic or graphene spray on the market. Also, after applying the coating, wait a full 7 days for a complete chemical cure, before using things other than a pH neutral shampoo.

Congrats on the amazing milestone. 2 questions: 1) How does your ceramic compare to the nano-diamond tech in C6? 2) Will your lineup come to Amazon as well?
@PanTheOrganizer3 ай бұрын
Thanks! 1) What do you mean by that? You know I never talk bad about other brands. But I can say my coatings are the best I have ever tested. Period. 2) Not for the time being.

Looking at the complete detailer kit with the 20% off offer, why do have BOTH bottles of ceramic (3-yr and 8-yr) in the same kit? Should be one or the other IMHO as I can't see needing both. Web site chat said only you can change the kit. Please let men know if this is possible. Standing by to purchase with the 8-yr ceramic.
@PanTheOrganizer3 ай бұрын
It’s a very popular kit as many want the entire line including the two coatings. But exceptionally, I told my customer service team to do a one time exception for you. You will be able to get the full kit with the 8-year coating, without the 3-year coating. Go to the customer service chat on the website and tell them your name and I authorized them to do this for you. ;) Thanks for your support Terrence! 💪🏻💪🏻 Hopefully you see my reply quick and place your order before they forget hehe. But again, this is a one-time thing for you. I know you’ll appreciate reading this. Let me know if it works! I’m flooded with thousands and thousands of messages, so I apologize if I don’t see it. I soent 16 straight hours yesterday replying to KZbin comments. No other big channel does that. But my viewers showed me all their love and support so I appreciate it!

Congratulations Pan! I used CSL and EXOv5 on my last truck and was pleased with the results. The additional process of applying the top coat for hydrophobic properties kicks your butt especially after all the prep. Looking for a one step ceramic application so I will be purchasing your 8 year coating for my new truck. I watched all your product launch videos and heard you say the ceramic coating can be applied on just about everything. My new truck is a Hummer and the trim on the bottom of the windows appears to be a rubber material. Can your "Clean" 8 Year Ceramic"be applied to this surface. Looking forward to the gloss, slickness , protection and hydrophobic results. Thanks for all that you do for the DIY community!

Thanks William! Yup this coating is not only super easy to apply, but only requires one layer. You can apply it on paint, glass, wheels, plastics, and lights. Not recommended to apply on rubber though! Thanks for the kind words, and keep me posted if you apply this coating, you will be blown away. Make sure you fully decon and strip the old coating off first, as you very well know. ;)
