the best thing about ur series is you showed that this game is not always on how to do a perfect run by predicting moves and timing like the ppl on speedruns did. the way u utilized items n in game tricks (like blangonga spawns) makes the series seems more fitted to the title "Monster Hunter" coz u act like a hunter with those calculations and preps. i hope there will be something similar or even better contents in the future.

Yeah 😄 I'm glad you've noticed! A lot of times I may not play perfectly, or I may cart here or there, and besides sometimes not wanting to get another take, I like to leave it in to show that it's okay and natural to fail every now and then, and to take responsibility for my failures, to try and improve for next time. I think this game has much more potential for all types of players, not just the higher end "pros". A lot of tribalist/elitist types will act as if getting to G rank or etc. is a badge of honor and pride, that it makes them better than others, or they get there because they are better than others, they use it to put people down to lift themselves up, and it's horribly toxic. While I'll never doubt that it's an accomplishment, and you do need to be good at the game... anyone can do it! So I hope it doesn't make others shy away or make them feel like they just can't do it, so they don't even try. They should try, they can do it! 😄 Success is inevitable if you're determined enough, it doesn't matter if it takes you many tries or if you don't finish as fast as others, your journey is your own, don't let others ruin it, as hard as that can be sometimes. Of course, that's not to say you shouldn't play with others, but anyways... Bit of a tangent haha, thanks for watching! I believe the health carries over no matter what, even if you fail the quest, the HP won't change from what it was, up to a limit of having a minimum of 4,000 HP. You can fail the quest over and over and as long as you deal 4k hp the last time you'll be good.

Yep, I think most or all monsters that can be repelled do so after 25 minutes, and after a certain percentage of HP is gone, for High Rank Fatalis it's 5,000 damage each, which in their case is 25% of their 20,000 max health.

Yeah you can play online, most people play through the Hunsterverse public server, go here for more information: hunstermonter.net/hunsterverse_new.php It takes some setting up and getting used to, but it works very well, it's what I use when I play online with people.

What happend if u fail the quest at round 3 for example, fatalis reset hp to 20000?

Whenever you successfully clear a round, his health will get saved wherever it was, if you fail in round 2 it'll reset back to what it was when you finished round 1, so, it won't go back to 20,000, as far as I'm aware. If there's a risk of that happening though (and I recommend you do this anyways) you can just restart the game without saving to keep your items and food buff.

I want to ask I'm confused in choosing a flute for feylene or a cat, there are two that I want to choose, namely for armor and for attacks so which one is better Btw i play in mobile 🗿

I would argue that attack is more important than defense. As long as you're able to take some hits, you'll get more out of increasing your damage than you will from defense, but it's really up to you. If you think you need more defense, that's totally valid as well. My reasoning is that if you learn the fight, and your defense is high enough, you should be able to survive a few hits from mistakes you might make, and the extra damage will make the fight go quicker, which leaves less room and time for mistakes. Also, you can upgrade your armor for more defense, but you can't quite do that as easily for more attack, it's more involved, at least.

How you get alchemy guide

You need to do each alchemy combination one time, then talk to the granny peddler. You can find a list of combinations online to help with that, you'll have to do some funny things and wear specific armor, like the bone set, to get the alchemy skill. I may make a video or a short explaining it eventually.

Been a while since I've looked back here but I got through pretty much all of high rank and fatalis. Currently doing crimson fatalis which has been a cakewalk so far but I was wanting to ask, armor mode is mainly only active during the 3rd round, correct? If so, I can go in with an LS rounds 1, 2, and 4 and use this method for round 3.

tl;dr: yeah, technically, for the most part. kzbin.info/www/bejne/d523iKtor7Cka6M I'd say watch this first if you haven't yet, it's the main guide video. Crimson's kind of easier than regular Fatalis tbh, White Fatalis is mostly more of the same. Armor mode is active when he's at 10,000 health, which is 50% in this case, and turns off at 4,000 health. You have to do 6,000 damage through that, which is unnecessarily difficult with melee weapons. The reason I say rounds 2, 3, and 4, is because you need to do 4,000 damage, minimum, to repel Fatalis, it's likely you'll go over that, and the amount of health he has remaining can vary just enough. In general, yeah, you can do rounds 1 2 and 4 with whatever you want, but there's always a risk that at the end of round 2 his armor mode may activate or at the start of round 4 the armor mode may still be activated and you may have trouble reaching the 4,000 repel requirement, especially if you have to bounce him over that limit. Keep in mind you can have up to 5 rounds of Fatalis, it can be hard to find out when to stop attacking if you don't have an HP display cheat, which I'm always assuming players don't, so, sometimes there can be an overlap of the armor mode activating and you may not be ready for it. If the armor mode turns on after like 3,000 HP and you don't have any way to deal the rest of the 1,000 required damage, that can feel terrible to have to deal with, because you won't be able to know (without an HP display cheat) until you wait for 25 minutes to pass. I think W. Fatalis' health remains even if you fail the quest, but you might as well try and repel it successfully to get the rewards. Of course I always recommend people play with others if they can. My videos are aimed to remove risk and frustration, so I just used this build for the rest of it, as well as it being sort of a "cheese" method since the damage is more or less guaranteed. The first video was more of a "This is how you can melee W. Fatalis" and not meant to be "This is how you do round 1." Please consider my videos in the context of assuming you will do things slightly differently than I do, to more fit your own playstyle. My videos are never meant to be "This is the only way to clear the quest." It's just "An example of how to clear the quest if you're having trouble."

@@HeadHunter455 I was not aware he could go into armor mode at the end of phase 2 that early and I wasn't sure how much damage I did the 1st round. I repelled him by 25 minutes but forgot to bring scatterfish for LG bomb+ the 2nd round and tried to wing it. Out of no where the 25 minute mark passes and suddenly he goes into armor mode. So did I end up dealing over 5k damage the first round and cause him to go into armor mode early in the second round or did he actually go into armor before half health? A bit confused on which. Either way, I failed the quest and the damage carried over so now I have to deal with him in armor mode.

lol yeah, most(?) elder dragons have a repelling mechanic, if you do enough damage, once enough time has passed (most of the time 25 minutes) they'll run away and you get some rewards. Then you can restock your items, eat another food buff, and fight it again and again until it's dead.

I did the math in the previous video: You need to do 5,000 damage, the bombs can get you to 4,536 with Bomber and Felyne Gunpowder, leaving you with 464 damage to deal. His armor mode turns all of his hitzones to 10, so, if you really wanted to, after bombing him, use the ESP armor skill, but it will be slow.
