Panthertown Valley is an amazing place. I have enjoyed backpacking there for years. Schoolhouse Falls is nothing spectacular as far as height and water flow, but it is just stunningly beautiful to me. Thanks for sharing your journey with us.

I love Panthertown. Spent many days in there hiking with my daughter from the time she was a very little girl. Now I get to hike in there with my daughter and her little girl. Thanks for the video. Heading out to thru hike the Foothills trail this Sunday 🙂

Love Ptown! The best backpacking destination in NC, and by default, the entire southeast. I was wondering if you were ever gonna put that hat on but I saw it eventually made a brief appearance! 🤠

Haha! So, I found out a few minutes in that the top of my pack is slightly taller than the brim. I fully intended to wear the hat throughout the trip, but it kept getting knocked off my head while walking 🤦‍♀️😆
