I am a volunteer for Lasagna love. I bake for families that request a home cooked meal. No income requirement or verification required (someone can just be overwhelmed and needs a helping hand) but many recipients have told me that they had no idea what they were doing for dinner. Cancer patients, handicapped, too old to cook much. I feel so blessed to be able to provide them with a lasagna!

Chicken corn chowder is one of my favorite fall soups! For soup/pasta recipes that call for heavy cream, I like to use 2 to 4oz of cream cheese and water instead, it's so much less expensive yet gives the same uber-creamy vibe.

@@amandawilliams5219 - Definitely even creamier! And it gives a little bit of a cheese-y flavor for pasta dishes, so you can skip using as much parmesan, etc. too. The tastiest part is the savings though, lol.

So I tried the beef and potatoes, and I clearly did not use as many potatoes as I should have because it definitely resembled beef stew... without the other vegetables. (I didn't have time to let it thicken as much.) Just a cautionary tale for everyone. 😂

I have a question, when do you eat your fruit that’s in the bowl, when you have finished your meal or during? I have an American friend and she eats it during 🤔 I’m in Australia, we eat our fruit after meals or as snacks, I find it fascinating learning how other people do things. Oh one more question, how did your son get his name Brick, is it short for anything, what’s the meaning behind it? It’s a very unusual name.

We make something similar but brown the ground beef in sesame oil and use brocolli instead of green beans (like she mentioned). Very yummy!

@@StarWarsFans98 I have a bulgogi recipe from a Korean lady (RIP, Mrs. Peggy). It is pretty involved - slicing the meat to the proper thickness, marinating in a mixture of 11 or 12 ingredients for 18-24 hours, and then grilling or cooking in cast iron, and then reducing the marinade and then there's more. For a special occasion, I'll do that. But for a regular meal, a quick and easy cheat is always nice to have in your back pocket!

It was good and very easy. I am a fan of the stir fry veggie mixes that have water chestnuts in them, I think that would have been good with this. Or some edamame, too.

I love your channel so much. I’m not a natural cook, but you give me so many ideas that I can try without having 15 ingredients. I’m trying the corn chowder for dinner tonight. Except I didn’t have any chicken, used smoked sausage, didn’t have any potatoes, toasted some tater tots and added them after I sautéed the sausage and onion.
