Something to try if another person is not available to photograph you--- check your cell phone for a timer function. I have had several entry level smart phones over the last decade, and they all had a timer function for the camera. Prop the phone upright on a book shelf, window ledge, whatever is at the correct height. I usually set the timer to 10 seconds, the maximum for my phone . On Android phones, it's typically this sequence: open the camera app, press settings, press timer from the menu, select the number of seconds.

Sue M - thanks for your comment. The How-To DVD is an excellent visual guide for drawing the pattern. I hope you have it...and follow it step by step. When you get into the pants pattern, if you need assistance with any fitting issues, don't hesitate to ask.

I had made so many other pairs of pants and was disappointed each and every time. First ones I made using SFD system fit me so nicely. I would suggest when you finish drafting your pattern that you follow the SFD video of perfecting or trueing the pants pattern. Good luck!

Thank you for this. I have made a pair of shorts using Your system. They turned out pretty good for a first time. I actually spent last couple of days watching your video on perfecting the pants pattern and did find out that I did have a couple of flaws which I corrected. I am just waiting on some fabric to arrive to sew them. I also was fortunate to receive the shirt kit as a Xmas present and can’t wait to start using it. Is there a video lesson on using the shirt kit? Unlike my other 2 kits I did not notice a code for a video download. I really appreciate all the tutorials and help you give us newbies.
