This game may not look like much, but I support any dev teams that wants to remaster old classics. There are so many hidden gems in the past 30+ years of gaming history, that would break the monotonous churn of modern games. So many great stories, so many clever mechanics.

Hidden gems in THIS franchise as well. Saga... I own the original version so maybe I should be against a remake (in case of a price drop) but nah that game needs one. For the price it feels like this should've included Zwei and Orta as well. The first Saturn remakes I'd want would be two multiplayer games(!) which I normally don't focus on. Death tank zwei and Saturn Bomberman (with 6-8 player MP) however... *Salivates*

i remember as a teenager watching my neighbor play Panzer Dragoon on his Saturn and i immediately fell in love with it. but i never bought a Saturn because i had a Playstation and had no interest in owning two systems. i thought about buying the Saturn just for the Panzer Dragoon series but couldnt bring myself to do it. that being said, up until about a week ago i never even knew that Panzer Dragoon had been remade, much less that it was coming to PS4! the nostalgia runs deep. this is a must buy for me on my PS4 Pro!

If you like this one, try Panzer Dragoon Orta. Basically the same as Panzer Dragoon but with 3 dragon modes, dragon evolution, and faster shooting.

JQWeeaboo it's just cashing in on people's nostalgia more than anything. I've never played panzer dragoon and was gonna check this out but at that kinda price they've got another thing coming. I was expecting it to be £10 at most.

I dunno, man. Considering it's a fun game with replay value, the price isn't that bad. Especially if you are an old school fan. There are other games that are 6-8 hours long that are 60 bucks, and sometimes they're buggy as hell. However, if you wanna wait for a price drop I wont hate.

I remember going to Toys R Us back in 1995 and seeing the Saturn on display with Panzer Dragoon on demo.. I thought “woah that’s so cool!” That game was the main reason I picked up a Saturn(or rather, begged my parents to get it for me)

Never played the original. Just got this for like $3 on switch. Basically it's like star fox with no bombs or wing tilt. Very little depth but a really fun little quick romp game. If you're looking for just a quick little action game to play for a short time that doesn't require memorizing a bunch of mechanics then this is for you. But don't expect something that is a longer term game and expect to just play it every now and again. If you also played the old Sega Space Harrier games then this is very similar except you can actually tell what's going on lol

Exactly, this should've been a full on Panzer Dragoon Tetralogy collection with Zwei, Saga, and Orta. Would've been about 30 hours of content with all of the games included (Saga is 20 hours long more or less and Orta is about 4-5. The OG and Zwei are an hour each though Zwei is a bit more replayable due to multiple dragon forms and alternate routes through levels)

Panzer Dragoon Orta was 1000x better than this remake. The whole game feels like it was half-assed. The dragon constantly bouncing up and down. The dragons tail is awfully stiff when you move around. The riders head gear is stiff all the time even in moments where you should have some movement. They could have done a lot better. Like adding different routes for one.

It's not worth it, especially at this price point. It has way too many issues to be any fun, at least until they patch it or lower the price to around $15. I bought it and like to support the series but now I wish I hadn't. I still play Gunman Clive repeatedly and that's only a 40 minute game, this is an hour with almost no replay value.

In Starfox your a Fox in a spaceship, you co-pilot is a frog, bunny & bird, you take orders from a dog and your nemesis is a monkey, yet the storyline for this game had to be mentioned as if it detracts from the game👍
