@@micheleberara2842 That’s funny Michele. I never understood why girls would scream? I mean, singer isn’t going to stop singing and grab the closest girl and leave? It’s funny to me when girls do this mania. Anyway, about 30 years ago, Shaun was in NYC. He hit on my friend. She wasn’t interested at all, but she gave him her number. He called and she had me answer. I was trying to tell him she wasn’t the type of girl he might be looking for anyway. She was wild. He may have known she was a challenge, and liked that? She didn’t like Blonds either. Wasn’t he married back then anyway? He doesn’t seem like a cheater. I would have enjoyed hanging out with him just to talk. Too bad she didn’t invite him over instead. Then I would have experienced what he was really like? He was very mannered on the phone. She had a great apartment. He would have enjoyed simply having a drink and chatting. She was Canadian. She didn’t grow up with all that hoopla of the Cassidy’s. So, he may have liked that too. 🤷♀️

Shaun, you did your brother proud. I can hear David singing with you until the time you both will see each other again.❤️

This is so great. I loved David Cassidy from the time I saw him on The Partridge Family the very first time through everything and when Shawn first started singing in touring I got to see him in concert and actually say hi to him as he was running up on stage by me. Two very handsome beautiful talented Brothers, and it's awesome to hear Shawn speak so highly of David. None of us are perfect and all of us have problems but it's great that they obviously seemed to work things out and stay relatively close.🙏❤

First guy I ever saw in concert, Shaun Cassidy opened for Andy Gibb, I was 10yr's old!!! Love that this brought back so many old memories, my sisters had been in love with David, but in 1979, Shaun was the bigger star in my world!!!

First off... my mouth dropped when Shaun started singing....such a great voice. Secondly... he reminds me a bit of John Schneider (Bo Duke of the dukes of hazard.) Now I'm off to watch some early Shaun Cassidy videos.

I saw this and thought how very ironic that Shawn played the Parx Casino in Bensalem, PA. I had been a fan of David Cassidy since I was 13 years old in 1970, and saw him in concert at the Steel Pier in Atlantic City in 1971 and at the old Spectrum in Philly in 1972 ( tickets were $6). I was also fortunate to meet him back in 1993 when he made a promotional appearance at Tower Records also in Philly ( What a sweet man). His last concert in the Philadelphia area was a free one, in the Summer of 2009, at a park ampitheater right up the road from where Shawn performed this night, also in Bensalem. Unlike this concert, however, that night was a bittersweet one for David's long-time fans, for he was not the person that tens of thousands of females fell in love with so long ago. He forgot more than a few lyrics to his hits, complained about the lighting and snapped at someone who asked him to sign a piece of memorabilia, stating that he didn't do that anymore. It was probably a combination of many things (problems that were becoming too big for him to overcome, no doubt), but I often wondered if there was also some embarrassment on his part, with the realization that he was actually doing a free concert when, at one moment in time, he singlehandedly sold out arenas all over the world. Was heartbroken when he passed , but so glad that Shawn continues to keep his songs, and his memory, alive for fans of both of them.

@birdsfan57 You must consider his strength was at an end. Too much for his still delicate soul. I don’t want to think about what he went through … and that we chased him halfway across the world. We have no idea what his life was really like afterwards. We shouldn’t judge him. He gave us his best and we love him infinitely for that. RiP Darling David and thank you Shaun for loving him 💕

I heard that when the girl fan was killed by the crowd rushing the stage at one of David’s concerts that affected him a lot. Might have contributed to some of the problems that he faced. 🌿🕊

I loved David first and Shaun. As a teenage girl from Kentucky I had them both on my wall and played their songs over and over. Seeing this video brought back wonderful memories but it also brought back the pain I felt when we lost David. I still love them both.💕
