This. For starters, the NFL is the only major professional sports league that has an odd number of regular season games. Not only that, also putting the Pro Bowl the week before the Superbowl. Making defensive player wear numbers outside of their normal number system. The NFL is basically a hybrid of high school and arena ball.

For years EVERY Wednesday in addition to some other lazy days my family ordered 2 to 4 pies from Papa Johns as we all served in some capacity in Wed night Bible study & there was no time to cook. We have a couple of fantastic neighborhood pizza places but on Wed we knew we could count on John's to be fast reasonable & fresh & they usually even sent us some coupon codes. We completely ceased when John was cancelled. I responded to EVERY subsequent email that we would NEVER order another without a formal apology to & reinstatement of Papa John himself & until then we wouldn't buy a pencil from them even if they all went blind. Glad Jason FINALLY got to this interview. Same goes for the GREAT Jon Gruden AND DeMaurice DOES have some BIG *SS lips. We LOVE Fearless!!!

As I listened to Mr. Schnatter speak about a healthy corporate leading to healthy franchises, and healthy franchises leading to a healthy corporate, I couldn't help but think of the entertainment industry as a whole and Disney in particular. For 20 years, the only chain store pizza I ever ordered was PJ’s because I liked the quality of the product and the politics and the patriotism of the owner. Since his ouster, and the NFL kneeling debacle, I have not watched a single NFL game since the 2016 pre-season and I have ordered one PJ’s pizza when I moved to a new city & state and figured I would see how it compared to pre-2015 PJ’s. Not the same and Im back to my embargo of PJ’s and the NFL. If they bring John back, I will buy PJ’s pizzas again - and if the NFL fires Goodell and ends its hostility towards the Republican/Conservative fans, I may watch the NFL again. I was a fan who religiously watched the NFL from 1969-2015 - now I stick to the NCAA and the CFL.

Toward the end of the interview Papa John mentions that if he had married his latest girlfriend it would’ve eventually cost him $200 million, if I heard him right so what does that tell you about his net worth? Lol like the rest of us, you gotta think with the big head and not the little one, especially if you’re loaded. By the way, why did the girlfriend try to extort only $300,000 from him given how wealthy he is? What does that say about her? Earlier in the session, I think he mentioned that Roger Goodell was an alcoholic. Makes sense since he started out in Washington, Pennsylvania as a bartender while going to college it’s amazing that he’s paid at least $44 million for what I don’t know and he has no backbone. Hope Papa John doesn’t get sued for that, even if it’s true about Goodell.

Great show Jason. The tragedy that has happened to Pappa John and the diminishment of the NFL involves the wicked heart of men (woman inclusive). Sadly, this a true saying; Jeremiah 17:9-10 ESV 9.)
