After a certain age it's either the dad will say his son is worthless and doesn't get anything or the son will think like that about his father. Only after its too late, they will realise that they are so similar to each other. I don't remember the last time I have said anything appreciative to my father or something he has said to me. We just can't for some reason. Never had the problem with my mom ever.
