Listening to this after almost a year again and it takes me right back to the emptyness and loneliness I felt all the way to my soul. I thought I had made so much more self forgiveness and hearing this makes me feel like I haven't come far at all. Just reminds me of such self hatred and I've just been lying to myself all along. I know I need to get past this but I'm not sure how that is possible. I can't listen to it and feel such despair again. I'm praying for God's mercy and wisdom to show me a way back home again!!!!

I remember listening to this the year this song was released. Over and over and over, and then I read Jacoby's reasoning behind the song and listen to it even more. I was hurting then but I was young and now I'm older and hurting now. I find it strangly soothing. I find myself back here knowing my mom might have leukemia. It's as soothing as I can get right now, and that's okay as long as I can enjoy it while it lasts. You guys don't know the impact this song had on me in 2012 and I'm surprised it hit as hard a decade later. thank you.

I've been listening to these guys since I was in grade 9 (infest). I am 27 now. Every single album I have loved. They have always keep the true to heart lyrics but changed their style of how they put it out. That takes a lot of risk to do that. You risk alienating the fans that made you famous that might not like your new sound at the benefit of bringing in new fans but I am glad they did it. Their music never gets stale imo I can put in any one of their cd's and not feel like its the same.

I love their old music and their new stuff. I love them as a band but I also love their personalities and their attitudes towards what they do and the fans that they have. Sure, they've all been through some rough patches, I mean, who hasn't? But they've over come that and all of their new music showcases that perfectly. I'm so proud of them and they deserve so much more credit and recognition than they are given. Their music always has such meaning and depth to it and that's what I love most about it. I love these guys so much, every single one of them, and it's gotten to the point where I don't mind if their music is different than what it used to be, as long as they're enjoying what they do, then that's good enough for me. Many people need to realise that yes, they have changed a lot since Infest but a band will always change their sound every once in a while, it just depends on what your preferences are. But please, everyone is allowed an opinion, obviously, but don't insult other people just because they like the new music and you don't, or vice versa. Just enjoy the music if you love it, if not then that's fine too but don't ruin for those that come here to listen and enjoy and relate to the music.

I actually feel that papa roach is the only band that pulls of djent/new nu-metal right... When I first heard of this genre I thought wow prog rock under five minutes.. But didn't expect that most bands I found on the Internet are plagued by teen movie lyrics.. I got into PR after last resort era not during. Their songs are about rage and passion and the recently increased technicality does not diminish the emotional impact but makes it more real more fleshed out
