Been a follower of Papa Roach since I was a little kid. As much as I love their old music, I've been a huge fan of the lyrics for songs from The Connection and again this song. I've had a really tough few years, I lost my mum and almost lost my dad, and having these songs from my favourite childhood band to remind me that we can all get through the shit that life throws at us is great. I get that their sound is different, but the passion and belief is still there.

Damn, people never seem to understand why their "favorite" bands change their sound. All Papa Roach is doing is trying to stay relevant with the time. They did a little electronic mix in 'The Connection' and people seemed to like it. So now they're doing it again, possibly a bit stronger, and you are all just so ready to abandon ship. If this new album fails and doesn't get good reviews, chances are they'll go back to their old ways. It's just progression. Deal with it. Every band out there will always try something new.

I have a love/hate relationship with this song. In on hand, i can say, that it sounds pretty cool, but I kinda hate it, when I see, that this song is made by Papa Roach. This band was my all time favorite. The Paramour Sessions was in my eyes their best creation and I will always love their crazy ass stile arround that time. Well now they seem to gravitate towards the radio friendly sound. I hope their new album wont be too poppy/electronic like what happened to korn. (sorry for my bad english, im german)

If we are quite honest, Korn is highly influenced by Jonathan's side project and the modern style of "pop metal" Don't get me wrong, I like the album, but they promised a throwback album to their roots (also because of Head's comeback) They've lost their raw guitar driven sound of their first albums. KoRn is still my favorite band along with slipknot, but I hope they get away from all this digital shit and make music as they used to. They had a very unique, "in your face" sound, but now?... Just compare the last 3 albums with their first 4 albums, then you get my point.

Yeah, I get what you're saying. Still not convinced to call them poppy/electronic though, since I believe they went back to their roots in some of the songs/parts of a song with the latest album. It is, however, no where near the first ones in terms of rawness. What did you think of the Gray Chapter? Also an album that surprised me a ton (in a good way). Too bad a lot of bands are leaning towards that electronic sound. In some cases it is good though - like BMTH.

Lovehatetradgey will always be my favorite album by PR, and probably one of my all time favorite albums period. They fell off in Paramour Sessions and Metamorphosis for me, but I did love The Connection, and this single makes it sound like they're coming back out hard, and I'm really looking forward to it. I don't think they're sellouts, I think they're just changing their sound to what they wanna play, and as long as it sounds like them, I don't give a shit how it sounds.
