I'm a huge Dead Space fan, so I can fill you in on the Dead Space remake. They made gender neutral bathroom signs. Honestly makes sense, since you know, it's on a fucking space ship. They don't exactly have alot of spare room to make alot of bathrooms. They changed the race and gender of a background character. They don't matter to the story at all and dies early in the game anyway, so why even care. They also changed some of the races on the propaganda posters thru the ship, and modeled the female characters after their voice actors, so they look different and a bit older. Absolutely doesn't change the game at all in any significant way.

EDIT: In response to 45:15 - Saints Row 2 struck a perfect balance between crazy and down to earth. Yes, there are crazy things hidden in the world. I love how he took the data for the graph he's constantly showing straight out of his ass. Sacred, Monster Hunter, Fable, WoW and Katamari Damacy all allowed you to play as female characters (that last one only in multiplayer). 7 games are sequels in series carried by male protagonists - Halo 2, Half Life 2, MGS 3, Prince of Persia, Doom 3, Spider-Man 2 and Ninja Gaiden. Meaning less than half of his list could have female protagonist/playable character and didn't. THUG 2 is a weird case though since every game before THUG 2 had at least one female skater per game but this one doesn't for some reason. Oh and also, he bases the graph on on top 20 best selling games and then lists only 19, truly a galaxy level brain.

Just as a side note: Not all people are super pretty and/or conventionally attractive. So why do we (e.g. Andypants) want all women in video games to be? If we want realism in some video games, all women can't be extremely attractive. It's not realistic. Also, different people find different traits attractive: some could i.e. like muscular blonde women, others could like slender women with dark skin and pointy ears, etc etc. Who gets to decide which women are "attractive enough?" I find it funny how Andypants was complaining about the Elf woman not able to have big bigger boobs or a butt; but the only definition of a woman they recognize is "Adult Human female"....She's not a Human, she's an Elf, and therefore she's can't be a woman. Unless AndyPants is making a much more subtle argument that the Elf should better conform to our understanding of traditional femininity and that the secondary sexual characteristics are an important marker and distinction of our heteronormative understanding of "womanhood" and is therefore a "woman" even though she does not categorically fit the definition of a "Human" Andypants is making such a woke argument.
